Likes
- I love the big ground and big campus where even thought there soo many students you can easily find a corner to sit with your friend circle and enjoy
- The college has an event every other week, it simply never stops. We always have fun.
Dislikes
- The bathroom mirrors could be cleaned every week.
- And the jyoti Auditorium could be a bit bigger as at times during important events it can not accomodate ALL the students
Remarks :
Jnc is less than 2kms from my house, and it is in one of the most happening place in Bangalore. It is the only GOOD girls college left in the city and I am more comfortable studying in an all girls college. So didn't hesitate to join jnc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose commerce as I'm veryy fond of accounts and love Knowing how the economy works. The subjects are also interesting if you like studying commerce. The teacher are pretty educated everyone have done masters and manyy have done their doctorates. Every semester has class internal assessments, then we have something called mid semester exams, and end semester exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So for my course the fees is between 73000-80000, sorry I don't remember the exact amount. Our college provides scholarship and discounts for different categories. It also provides discount for students who did their 11th and 12th in the same institute. There is a short interview round, where they enquire about your education background and the process for admission is pretty simple from there
Campus Life :
The fest our college conducts every year is called Scintillation, it is conducted in the end of September every year. And it is among the popular fests in the city. Our college library in an entire building, with basement, ground floor, first and second floor categorised by different subjects and languages Our college has various clubs, like Aicuff, Rotaract, e cell, our story, fest club, and each subjects and language have their own clubs like psychology club, commerce club, maths club, Hindi department, tourism club etc. Our college has different sports as well. Jnc is pretty big and serious when it comes to its culturals

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
