Likes
- Classroom are equipped with some good gadgets and infrastructure. There are smart boards and mic system in every classroom.
- The campus offers lush green space which is free from noise and crowd. The campus offers beutiful scenic views.
Dislikes
- The sports infrastructure is not developed upto the mark. Students here struggle if they want to engage in sports.
- The campus is situated a bit far from the city so the nearest mall is around 12 km away. The railway station is 18 km away and airport is 16 km away.
Remarks :
Admission is given on the basis of CLAT score. Other than that there is no interview, GD or anything. The university has the largest campus area among all the NLUs although the area is not fully developed. It offers descent placements.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties are well qualified and are having doctorate degree in in their subjects. Some of the faculties are graduated from foreign universities. But marking system of the college needs a lot of deliberation. Some of the faculties have descent number of publications in reputed foreign journals. I have chosen BA LLB course in the university aa I want to pursue my career in field of Law. There are 2 exams per semester, one is mid- term and another is end-term. The question paper level has descent difficulty level.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have done internships. Some of the places are mentioned below Luthra and luthra Khurana and khurana Sim and San attorneys I had intern in these firms for 1 month. Stipan are generally not provided but depends if you have done great job. The internship committee is running but not able to provide internship in large numbers. One can avail internship from internship committee based on his/her credentials.
Placement Experience :
There are some teir 2 and teir 3 law firms visiting for campus placements. The university is progressing so teie 1 law firms can be seen in coming years for the campus placements. There are Many students who are getting placed with the campus placements in teir 1 and 2 law firms. So if one does not get placed from the college he/she still can get placed at nice place.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is collected per semester. Previously the fees of the university used to be bit lower but now with ever coming session, administration is increasing fees. There are various scholarships you can avail but for that you have to be a merit holder in your batch. Other than that there is eklavya scholarship for the students from Jharkhand and other state schemes available.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of the college is in very bad condition as the state government doesn't fund the college properly. There are no proper maintained grounds. Although it has basketball courts, badminton court(open), tennis court and volleyball court. There is vig ground where you can play cricket or football but the ground is not in ideal condition. University conducts an annual fest known as AAVIRBHAV but it cannot be compared with the fest of other colleges. One should not be having a very high expectation from the college fest. The social life us good at university as the environment is ver lively and joyful. Students are cooperative and they are running different clubs and committees in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
One of the best feature of the hostel is that here is single occupancy for every student. The room are spacious and have balcony attached with them. The wheather here is not very harsh so there is not system of air-conditioning. The mess food is terrible in the hostel.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
