- college is very simple neat clean , small groups of byuilding for every branch , with small combined canteen and hall both for diploma and engineering
- rest animals like diogs, cow , snake especially monkeys can be found. student i advise not to roam around monkey bites are common plus not medical officer is there so student is resposnible for his own action
Dislikes
- dislike is some bullshit teachers so called professor and culture they promoted it. come to class in order to get attendance
- studnets just sit in class watch 4 walls and go home . they could have told what how tofrom where to start . what we could learn , studnets can really develop a skillset in college years rather than wasting tehir 4 years
Remarks :
government college , students have to c;lear JEE mains and fee is ok as compared to other colleges fee structure . As most other college charges about 60k per sem fee which is 1.2 lac yearly which is very expensive and not affordabke by a comman man .a snot only fee oether factirs would alsio come when a midddleman would sponser his college eductaion
Course Curriculum Overview :
1. I choose this course as i desirred to become software engineer and pursue my career as developer 2. Faculty here are quite qualified all are phd holders /doctorate in their subjects , but they dont know how to teach . They just come to make their govt. job safe . once or twice in 6 months they teach very seriously in a class , rest students need to come dailyy waste their time just to get attendance at 5 marks in each subjects 3. Whether final exam is tehre ir mid term all are happens very timely as facult +managemnet has to report upper authorities of panjab university
Internships Opportunities :
yes i got internhsip on campus but that comapny ia a fraud, tehy hire inetrns in bulk get tehir work done , save labour , npo inership certificate is provided . I has to pay 8k to some insitute to gicve certificate in order i could pass my 8th sem ( inusttrial training sem) , nor they gave any promised stipend to students . I was luchy left after 7 months . some studenst worked for free for 1 year .
Placement Experience :
Placements are null hod is very inactive he does nothing students bring companies and sit for their job interview . Placemnet cell students are being expected to mail companies to coem in college . Sometime sfraud companies also come who doesnt given internship certificate , not stipend , just get their work done for free.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee structure is rs64000 for general students, sc/st/obc students fees is 48000. Plus overall in year students who CGPA is highest gets 100%scholarship, 2 and 3rd get 50% scholarship . For SC/ST/obc quaotes students fee is very affodabel almost less . i personally had many students whio belong to these categories but in reality they belong to good families who were really rich and students like me who belong to the general category gets nothings. meanwhile, their driver used to drop them off and take from in big luxury cars.
Campus Life :
we only have a fest called aparim in which a group teachers basically do fraud and takes most money collected in the anme of fest . rest all things are being expected and done by studnets . Books are available in liobraray . she is ok . if you really want to studnet libarraian issues multiple books too . No sports nothings . Yes theere are social groups formed bys tudnets they are very good like drama cliub ( i was part throughout 1st year), beatles ( dance club), achintyam ( photography club) , apostle of speech ( lierary clu). a;; clubs are ran and funded by students themselves.
Hostel Facilities :
though i havent opted for hostel . bt yeah mess food was ok as per rate , specially students are allowed to eat unlimted . simple and good foo though . boys hostel is dump ground . girls hostel is quite clean . new hostel bulding is very clean newly architecture quite good.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
