- Campus life is not very good but it is good as per the fees
- faculty is well educated they have been hired by upsc conducted exam

- The degree canteen is closed for some rooms, if it opened it would have been fine
- i dont like 75% attendance critera, we have to go college daily
Remarks :
There are no written tests, admission is given through JAC CHD. After giving the computer based test of JEE Mains, you are allotted a college and department based on your JEE ranking. The department can be changed later After giving the MEET exam next year.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in this course so I chose it, no other reason for that, and the faculty is well qualified, teachers here come after clearing the UPSC conducted exam, every teacher has a slightly different method, and exams are conducted timely as per the schedule of Punjab University
Placement Experience :
mostly companies set a criteria of at least 60% number with no reappear in any subject and the average package is 6 lpa for cse and ece, whereas 3-4 lpa for civil and mechanical, highest is 11 lpa in my knowledge.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
250000 per year fee, can be increased if the college gets NBA accreditation, so it is not necessary to increase the fees, but if accreditation is received then the fees can be increased, scholarship is mentioned in the prospectus, those who are supposed to get it, their name comes in the list, and there is no management quota
Campus Life :
The name of our festival is "APRATIM" and it is held in the end of November or December, mostly books are available in the library and students get the books issued. Sports are not very good in our college but there is an annual sports event, rest of the sports of the college are not very good, there are other clubs in the college where students take care of themselves, all the clubs which are held in every college have music, theatre, debate etc.
Hostel Facilities :
food quality is good, and the menu is fine, and hostle is affordable at 4400 per year and mess fee is 3300 per month, i am not a hosteller but boys hostle is not very good in condition , but girls hostle is bery good in terms of rooms and menu.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
