like in maharashtra CET is there for getting in a college. CET is a entrance exam in maharashtra for getting in engineering college and yes the cutoff is not fix it is like on demand if more demand than cutoff will be high.
i chose this course bcz in future there will be high demand for semiconductor industry as well as in IT sector also. the course curriculum is not so good . it is past one. Faculties are also not very well but good. like also faculties have the same qualification of MTECH.
the college itself provide some interships,but if you have to do you can do by self applying outside and do. the college provide internships is very small like not getting to learn so much. no outdoor companies offer internships for us directly.
like you have all clear in all subjects than only you will allow to sit in placements . Very less students are getting placed from this college . but yes skills also required for getting selected.
For general the fees is around 120000 but for cast the fees is reducable. and for all categories the scholarship is available from maharashtra government. the annual income should be less than 8 lac so only a student can apply other wise not.
FEST name is UTSAV and SPOTLIGHT like events happen. and there is not fixed but yes the events are mostly conducts in winter season. the campus is not so big and there is no playground for outdoor activities.
i have not more idea about hostel but yes it is very close to our college building. i think around 4000 is the rent for hostel per month. yes PG is also available near the college but i dont know the amount they charges for that.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
