The placement and job opportunities at Balaji Institute of Technology and Management ( Sri Balaji University ) are excellent. The eligibility criteria for placement is 80% attendance and no backlogs in any examinations. Some of the recruiters that visited our campus were Airtel, Reliance, Wildcraft, Boat, Infosys.
I pursued my 2 year Full-time PG programme in MBA(Marketing) from Balaji Institute of Technology and Management. The total fees for 2 years MBA/PGDM through Sri Balaji University is in the range of 9 lakhs to 14 lakhs. The fee breakup was as follows 1.One time fee - INR 10,000 2.Tution fee - INR 8,90,000 Apart from One time fee and Tution fees there is also " Hostel fees " which you will have to pay if you have opted for Hostel accommodation. Kindly note that the Hostel accommodation is provided by the university and the Hostel is located within the University campus, the hostel fees that i paid was 67,500.
I would rate my campus life 9.8/10. It had everything that a campus life should have. From great peer groups to fun activities. At Sri Balaji University we used to have competitions within institutes and between institutes. The competition that is held on institute level is called "Aiyyaswami" and all the classes of one institute used to compete with each other, there are 4 Institutes ( BITM, BIIM, BIIB, BIMHRD ) each institute had one winner class who were rewarded with a trip to Goa. The University level competition was called "Drishti" all the 4 institutes used to compete with each other for a Giant trophy. Aiyyaswami was held in the month of October and Drishti was held in January. The University has a institute wise Library that had a huge collection of books of every genre from fiction to Biography to Course related books to magazine and journals.
The hostel mess was located just outside the hostel gate. The Hostel infrastructure and Mess was good but the same couldn't be said about the food quality of the mess. There were separate 4 floor hostels for Boys and girls. The hostel had facilities such as Basketball court, swimming pool, Table Tennis zone and chess zone. I was given the option to choose Hostel or not during the admission process. PS: The hostel facility is provided for first semester only. From 2nd semester i shifted in a rented room nearby the college.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
