- Infrastructure is nice now that it has renovated and also the faculties are quite experienced and helpful
- Campus life, Cafe inside hostel premises All accessibility stores available from medical to grocery stores
Dislikes
- The campus is located in Bannerghatta So outskirts of Bangalore And that for any person to go out and enjoy They would have to travel quite far Mostly 30 to 45 mins minimum And the airport is nearly 2 hours away from the hostel premises
- The hostel for the boys isn’t that great The mess in the hostel for girls is on the ground floor But for the boys it’s in the basement With plastic plates And honestly I sometimes didn’t find that quite sanitary Only the boys side of the hostel has this problem Rest everything about the college is good except for its issue with attendance shortage.
Remarks :
There was only one entrance exam that was NLat and frankly the Bangalore campus has better crowd than the Navi Mumbai campus Whereas the Mumbai campus is just a building wherein the law students are just given a floor in the building So not a proper campus The Bangalore campus (Bannerghatta) is renovating further Since the number of students has increased the college now has new classrooms and there’s a proper football and multipurpose court in the making. The admission process is not that difficult (they ask for certain basic documents such as migration and transfer certificate of 12th grade and other result documents) Aside from that no specific cut off Bangalore campus is not that difficult to get in And in the course Its 50 marks internal (out of which 20 marks are written mid term papers) rest 30 marks are divided into categories like (Group Discussions, Class Participation, and Quizes) And the end term examination is for 50 Experienced faculties from top law schools
Course Curriculum Overview :
Personally I thought the campus would be the one in kormangala The course is quite appealing And the marking system is - 20 marks mid terms (written paper) 30 marks internal (Group discussions, quiz, and class participation 10 marks each) And finally 50 marks end term written papers The difficulty level isn’t that high However it’s a medium difficulty papers The faculties in fact are all from top law schools like IIM NIRMA They are quite experienced in their fields as well So they are able to provide us with the real world scenarios and how they tackled a problem when they were practising. Mostly all the faculties of law are very good at teaching and are quite keen on making the students understand the concept and not just by heart memorise things
Internships Opportunities :
I personally have only done internships through my own contacts Diving into all the fields of law including litigation to corporate and even under the supervision of a judge. Basic stipends in khaitan and co of upto 10,000 - 15,000 a month basic research job and understanding of what laws to be applied where Where to go to file a particular document or get an affidavit
Placement Experience :
Placement cell or committee is established And one can apply for internships in the committee as well However the first batch of llb had graduated last year Many of them are yet to be place But most of them got the placement themselves Average package being 7 to 8 lac per annum But the creamy layer of the batch (top scoring students) got a package of 16 lacs per annum
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First year college says that hostel is compulsory and charges 250000 (Inclusive of 10000 security deposit) For our batch in 2022 the tuition fees used to be 1,75,000 per year But now for the newest batch of 2024 The fees is 3,00,000 per year And as far as the hostel is concerned The fees of 2,50,000 for 10 months for first year students And if senior students still want to opt for the hostel - the amount increases depending on what senior year you are in
Campus Life :
Cultural committees are established They host events on occasions like Halloween, ganpati, etc Hostel also has events hosted by the management So overall social life is good All the students are interactive There’s a cafe in the hostel premises where the students can eat, vibe to songs and enjoy Sports committee throws events for different sports as well And the college has provided for library issues and other digital platforms (MAPMYACCESS) that the students can use to access platforms like livelaw, manupatra, jstor for researching purpose and for publishing the same.
Hostel Facilities :
Rooms are quite decent and spacious But are first come first serve For the hostel the parents have to fill a form on the portal itself The food quality is fine But since they make it in huge bulk portion The dal and everything is quite watery However the food served in the mess of the college is quite good since it being outsourced If one wants to get good rooms in the hostel They must apply and go to the premises before the

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
