The admission is through NLAT examination which is easier when compared to CLAT. After the examination is done, cut-offs are released, and then according to your preference and score, you are allotted the campus.
The course outline is curated in a very precise manner taking into account current developments too and landmark case laws. Sometimes it becomes too lengthy to study though. And mostly there are 8 subjects which are required to be studied in the first year. The faculties are nice, though in each year to be honest there will always be one faculty whose teaching techniques would not be great, but manageable. The only drawback is they don't provide a Hindu subscription.
Most of us intern in law chambers or firms. Normally they suggest in the first semester to intern or deal with the legal aspects of an NGO, and after that, everyone interns under advocates of the high court or district court, where the basics are taught. Since no specialization is chosen before 4th year, one is encouraged to apply for an internship in diverse arenas.
They are trying to get placements as this branch was established later, but with the help of faculties good CVs are made and most people get placed. Internship reports have to be submitted after each semester. Many people also get PPO.
There are a lot of facilities available in the college like air hockey, table tennis, basketball, cricket and others. The committees here organize many events like National Moot Court Competitions, Intra Debates, and Policy Hackathon, and all the committees have a social media presence like mcsblr_sol, debsocblr, etc, everybody can check those pages out.
The food is not that great, but it's hygienic. When compared to all other hostels, it is better, as the rooms are bigger, and cleanliness is maintained at all times. Wifi issues are there, but generally, it works well only. If there are any issues, there is an app in which you can report them, and they get resolved easily.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment.
