Remarks :

Exposure - BITS as a brand has very strong alumni network. Also, because of no quotas and international students the exposure you get on campus is better than any other. Practice School - There is a nearly 6-8 month long mandatory internship provided by college only. (Talked about later)

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum of BITS is always supposed to be hard. Our 7 cg is considered a geberal colleges 9. But the curriculum is not as rigorous as a college like IIIT. In BITS you have a consistently study but not constantly study. You have plenty room to pursue extra and co- curricular activites. Faculty at BITS Hyderabad especially is top notch. Looking at their profiles was one of my biggest motivations to join this campus over other.

Internships Opportunities :

Our college has a system of Practice school in which the college mandatorily sends the students for internship to collaborated industries and institutes. It happens twice once in the summer break after 2nd year and next in one of two sens of 4th year. So at the end of 4 years evry students has atleast 6-8 months of work experiences. Additionally we have internship drives at the end of 3rd yea in which students get internship on their own merit.

Placement Experience :

Placements have been low last two years but thats low compared to BITS average statistics which brings in a median ctc of 20 lakhs or more Big names company come offering all sorts of roles. In my field big names like texas instruments, nvidia, nxp semiconductors are regular for placements. Some have diversity hiring. There are usually cgpa cutoffs for all. A normal placement process is cg cutoff, written test, 2-3 interview rounds. It may vary with company but this is the normal route. Eee engineering in specific is the most versatile because you will be able to sit for virtually every single company be it IT, electronics or core.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No quotas. Certain seats available for international students but those students have to pay nearly double. Additionally there are collaborative courses with colleges outside India - fees of that also is very high. Mess charges per month is nearly 4000. Hostel charges about 5000. Electricity and all other facility amount to 2500 per month.

Campus Life :

BPHC has clubs for almost everything one can think about. The exposure brings like minded people where the nichest interest is appreciated. Overall life at campus is fun and great. We have amazing infrastructure for all amenities. Almost all sports played with well structured teams that participate in tournaments. We also have 3 major fests with performances by big time artists is each.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel structure is good. There are always caretakers present who are prompt. Mess is separate from hostel and 2 common messes for all students(both girls and boys) Hostel rooms are alloted at the time of admission only. Its a random allotment as a fresher. Later you can choose your own wing and live with your friend in the given choice of hostel (year wise) - but its on first come first serve basis.

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

A great place to meet like minded people

Course Curriculum Overview :

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.

What it's really like studing at NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since our batch hasn't reached final placements yet, I can't talk about placement results. But the college has already started preparing us through coding pratice, resume building sessions, mock interviews, and career guidance. Internship opportunities are shared regularly, and students are encouraged to apply from the early semesters itself. I like that the focus in on building our skills first instead of waiting until the final year. I feel this preparation will really help us when placement season begins.

My experience at NIAT

Placement Experience :

NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.

A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life

Placement Experience :

Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
