There was a good review for this University especially for the psychology department which is what made me want to join here, as that is the very course I've joined. The admission enrollment is based on the CUET score, after the first and second list is released there might be a third list or there is directly the open councelling option
I chose the course I chose which is psychology because of my own personal interest in the area. It was a good decision as well, since psychology is one of the topmost departments in CUK. Although, it does get a bit hectic at times for that very reason.
Internships haven't started for me yet, but as far as I know for my department, they provide the internship options, which we can choose according to convenience. I'm not sure about other departments at all.
There are no placements here, I think it's more like it depends on each department. The internships are provided by some departments like psychology, other departments don't as far as I know, you might get absorbed into that very package after your degree
The fees is paid separately for hostel and tuition, there is no exam registration fees, lab fees depends on the course you belong to. The exactly amounts are tough to mention as it may vary, but they are affordable mostly and the fees payment deadline is also always very reasonable with often extensions given once or even twice.
The social life here is great, there are around 29 departments, and almost every department has a fest at some or the other time of the year, most during the odd semesters, it's the most fun time of the year. The library and classroom amenities are great, conveniences are great.
The hostel is pretty good, the facilities are quite good, the mess food is bearable, but not great, but for the price we pay it is good. There are no PG or room facilities atleast for now. There is a newly established mess facility outside the gate, but it is just hotel food, so I wouldn't say it's healthy.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
