- Faculty, although rhe teachers are qualified but are sometimes biased because of which, opportunities are not being given
- Always under construction, some or the other building is always under construction
Remarks :
The college was recommended by a friend living in Bengaluru, the university is really nice and smooth functioning, for non Btech students the stress level and crowd is decent, for BTech students the crowd and the competition is pretty high. My entrance was done via interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I wanted to pursue a medical field, but didn't wanna pursue mbbs, Bsc psychology is my area of interest. Most of the faculty Members are doing their PhD and e of them are done with it, some faculty members just completed their masters and is in the teaching job for the first time. teaching methods are old school, smart classes with pen paper notes, assignments which are done in class, no work for home is given exept research papers. there are 2 in semester exams. First ISA is done after completion of half syllabus and second ISA is done after the second half, final exams consists of all the 4 units (2+2) for the completion of the semester
Internships Opportunities :
I've not applied for any internship as for now, but I'm planning on doing so, with NIMHANS, some if seniors did internship there. In university internships are also available. Research papers with professors and having published your chapters in books will also get good job opportunities
Placement Experience :
Placements for BTech students is pretty good, there's a intership program in university with a tie with Bajaj. Which offers good internship programs for engineering students . I am planning to do clinical psychology.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per year the fees is 160000, which is submitted before the semester starts. The registration fee was about 1500 for my course in particular. 10,000 is the caution fee. The dee structure for BTech and Bba is pretty high than what is the fee for BSc psychology. The students get consesion in the fee according to their CGPA, if the CGPA is more than 7.5 the students will get 2000 in their union Bank account, more than 8.5 will fetch you 10000 rupees and more than 9.5 gets you 33000.
Campus Life :
The biggest fest is atmatrisha, which is conducted in the month of April, which goes in for a week, last day of the fest there's a huge concert (last time singer Shaan was there ro perform). Many events like samarpana (marathon), TAMS (the ameture manager and scientists) a national event, chords (music event) etc. we have a r story Library with thousands of books and accessibility to all the resources, their are silent rooms for better concentration, discussion rooms, the library is a major attraction of our college. The campus is beautiful and all the amenities are accessible to all the students and faculty. The food is hygienic and very delicious.
Hostel Facilities :
I was in Hostel for the initial year, but the food and hygiene was not good, the curfew timing resisted me to join any club activities and extra work. The people are also very unhygienic and the room conditions are also not so good. The hostel fee was 1,36,000 with 30,000 as the caution fee. The hostel was in a residential area which created a lot of disturbance.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
