- It is a very huge campus so the infrastructure is great
- The faculty are friendly and the social life in Gitam is good
Dislikes
- It has a lot of competition that it would take us a lot if time to get in into any club
- Everything is expensive in Gitam and all the prices are double than the original price
Remarks :
It is the placements that made me choose this collage and moreover BBA LLB course is not commonly found in other collages or universities. I had an interview after passing the exam. The syllabus is provided by the university and we have to prepare accordingly
Course Curriculum Overview :
The staff are very friendly and interactive. The exams are hard and we will not be having much time to study. We will have many other things such as projects, presentations, events, contests, clubs, physical activities and it will be a bit hard to complete self study on time
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't cause I am still in first year and it takes a month for me to get to the internship phrase. And as it would be my 1st internship experience I don't think that it would be difficult for me to surpass it
Placement Experience :
There are good number of placements avaliable at gitam. But I am a law student it's a professional course. I wouldn't take the placements even if provided and I would rather choose to go for higher studies
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You'll get scholarship when you write the Gitam entrance exam. And and additional scholarship based on your parents financial status. The exam fee is around 750. The exam will be held in your locality. You have to apply for the exam online and do the required payment online. There will be 2 semesters per year and the scholarship will be applied to the 2nd semester. Books will be provided by the library no need to pay.
Campus Life :
Gitam has a very good infrastructure. All the members responsible for clubs, sports and other events are very friendly and welcoming. But there is a lot of competition in everything. Classrooms are great. Teaching and staff are good.
Hostel Facilities :
I stay in nursing hostel and it is well maintained. There are around ten varity of foods 4 times a day which is a good thing and we can choose what we can eat if you don't like something. Cleanliness is well maintained in hostel as well as in the mess

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Placement Experience :
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
