- I love the clubs here and the weekend events that are conducted by the different clubs. So that people of different courses and all in the campus will get known by each other and get they get interacted. There are two major fests that happen in a year that is TATHVA (south india's biggest technical fest) and RAGAM (south india's biggest cultural fest) these are the three days event where minimum of 5000 - 7000 people will attend. Ragam is combined with the Hometeams like street play(mahaprasthanam) and mine and more various culturals. And the thathva is combined with wheels where the costliest and antique cars are showcased and with that racing and other cars and bikes a program of racing and stunts will be done. U can check out in the insta page of called tathva_nitc and ragam_nitc. The life in national Institute is equally balanced with college working days and the events that happen here throughout the semester. That makes this Institute unique compared to all other Institutes here.
- Other events are also conduct like Navaragam for new year and anuragam for valentines Day, etc
Dislikes
- Some times I feel like the college timing are stressfull
- Some days you will have college from 9-12 and 2-5 and some days 5-6
Remarks :
I have gone through JEE Mains and qualified then got seat in this national Institute. This is an Institute that always stands in top 5 of all over nit's in India. It has a great curriculum and good placements.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always interest in working towards the pharma kind of job sector and t I thought chemical engineering is somehow related to my intrest. And the faculty in this course are really high professional with their academic background where majority are with their phd .
Internships Opportunities :
Upto now I didn't applied for any internship. As internship is not mandatory for students of my course here in National Institute of technology calicut. And we will be dealing with a project in your final year
Placement Experience :
Many companies do offer the placement we have select the company of our wish.they will check your min CGPA later they will give you a date of interview and you will take the interview on that specific date. U can apply the offline companies in the simultaneously
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Mess and hostel fee will be 32000 and college fee will be 23000. Per semester. And other expenses will be on how you spend. Usually it will be around 1,50,000 somehow per whole year. Not more than that.
Campus Life :
This Institute has each and every club that encourages the students. And the whole semester is equally balanced with academic and fest or events. And there are sports competitions within the interbranch and inter nit where the certificate of inter nit is highly valued
Hostel Facilities :
There are different kinds of mess in nit. Some of them are South mess and North mess. And some of them are only for boys and only for girls and some are co-mess and there are 3-4 canteens for pay n eat. There also have night canteens

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
