Review for School of Engineering, CUSAT
Remarks :
My dad in teaching profession and some students that came here suggested this. There were no interviews of any sort . We did have to give an exam called CUSAT CAT which was containing questions related to math physics and chemistry , math was given twice as priority as the other 2 individually . Your are allotted branches according to the marks you manage to score
Course Curriculum Overview :
course was updated recently and academics are great, faculty on the other side can be harsh towards students , some of them atleast . Try to stay clear of them as much as uyou can . language barrier can be a factor if you are not from Kerala
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for BTech programs at school of engineering CUSAT varies based on categories like general , SC/ST and NRI seats Tuition fees: 55000 per semester for students outside of Kerala University fees: 5000 per year including Examination fees and student welfare fund Other fees: Hostel and food , depends on student themself but the university takes around 4000-4500 per month for the same
Campus Life :
most of the clubs and events are planned by students and the fund is collected in between the students , college itself is not so active in this matter , you probably cant get long leave for outside internships. Other than that college does not have a ground and so any sports event has to be planned outside of the university that again by the student body itself

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
