- The college have a good and qualified faculty, The campus life teach us many thing in social life.
- The infrastructure are overall bad in hostel but administrative building and department building are good enough.
Dislikes
- Class room and hostel infrastructure need to get improve very much.
- Discipline in the hostel also need to improve and authority need to be serious about this.
Remarks :
During my diploma I have always dream of getting an admission in NERIST as it is one of the reputed Institute in North East. I have come to know about this by my relative and to get into this college you need to write a NERIST Entrance Exam through that it will take you get admission and then sit for counseling. It is also possible through JEE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is over all good and regarding the academic there are many things to improve in terms of infrastructure and teaching facilities. The the faculties are good and well qualified. But the teaching quality should improve for betterment of the student.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, during you 6th semester of your degree you are required to undergo a training for one month in any PSU Or company to gain a practical knowledge which give us and help us in academically. Student can choose any psu Or company for the training as per their convenient.
Placement Experience :
There is lots of placement availability during graduation and before graduation but also have to maintain a CGPA to get a good placement in company. Many visitors come like Indian oil, Hightect, Java, Neepco etc for placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fee is approximately 6000 per semester which means 12,000 per year and Hostel fee is 15000 per semester which means 30,000 per year and there is some charge for lab fees, development fee, admission fee, caution fee which comes total amount of 7000-8000 in a year. For ST of Tripura state we get a scholarship of 34160. In one year.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is over all good but in some case there are bad side of campus like there is no discipline inside the hostel especially for boys. Discipline should be improve and authority should be more active in this regard. There are many festival inside the campus like Racaf, synergy are the main program. Books availability are good enough in the library and there are many good book available in the central Library.
Hostel Facilities :
The mess in the hostel is pathetic and poor this is one the most important thing to improve inside the hostel. The infrastructure also need to improve alot. For applying hostel there's nothing to do once you clear the entrance exam all things will get during the counseling.

Various companies comes for placement in NERIST but many of which don’t provide a proper package most number of them provide around 3-4 LPA. Since this companies are mass recruiters so more than 50% of the students gets placed

Course Curriculum Overview :
The teachers are highly qualified. And tests occour monthly and since it is first year the test and exams are very very moderate . The exam of first year is given during December after which we get a vacation for few days after which the second sem begins and its exam occur at april

Almost all the teachers have PhD degrees except a few. They use both English and Hindi langue based on students preferences. They provide notes from standard book and also provides own well prepared notes. The exams always takes place timely, timely routine were provided.

Zoology was my subject since class 5 as I love studying this subject so I decided to took zoology as my honours in the university. All the faculty members of the university are good enough with a PhD . There held 3 sessional examination at a duration of 1month gap.

Companies start visiting for placements from 7th semester, Many top companies such as C-DOT, Deloitte, Wipro, OIL, CGI, Tech Mahindra. The highest package offered is 19 LPA, average package is 7.6 LPA. Most of the IT companies offer SDE, Analyst roles where are core companies offer GET roles for the students. I'm looking forward for the placement after getting the degree.
