- I like the infrastructure of our college. There are labs, library, Academic blocks and we won't see any negatives here.
- The faculty are highly qualified when it comes to Machine Learning.
Dislikes
- Hostelers face a hard time going out of campus as it requires permissions.
- There are some security guards who act rudely against students.
Remarks :
I chose this college, because I always wanted to study in a University, as University education is always better than a college education. For getting a seat in this college, I cleared the EAPCET exam and selected this college. During the counselling , we are supposed to go to college and submit our certificates. There were and will be no interview rounds. For getting a seat through VITEEE exam, there isn't any cutoff specified. You can prepare by searching for previous papers online.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Course Curriculum is very impressive. In our college we follow a system where students are asked to select the subjects of their choice, which they want to study in that particular semester. This makes our college different from other colleges. I did choose CSE as my major and AI & ML as my minor. I choose them based solely on my personal interest. The Faculty are very highly qualified. You can even find scientists teaching in our university. Teaching method is also good as all the teaching is done in a way which benefits the understanding of students. There will two CAT exams i.e., Cumulative Assessment Tests with duration of 90 minutes followed by a FAT i.e., Formative Assessment Test with duration of 180 minutes in a span of 5-6 months which complete a semester. The CAT exams tend to be some what easy compared to difficulty of FAT exams, which is pretty moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
Till now, I haven't got selected to any internship. But most of the companies that appear in placements provide a 6 month internship to students who got selected by clearing technical rounds and interviews. The stipend for internships typically starts from 30,000 and ends below 80000. The projects and tasks will be completely relied on the company.
Placement Experience :
The job opportunities provided are pretty good. During our 3rd year in B.Tech we are asked to register of PAT(Placements) with a fee of 6000INR, based on our interest. If a student maintains a GPA of 9 above out of 10, he/she is most likely to secure a job in the campus placements. Generally all students are allowed to apply for a job, but usually students with minimum GPA of 8+ move forward and this varies based on the company. Recruiters starting from Google, ServiceNow, Apple to TCS, Wipro, Accenture and many. I'm sure about of number of offers made. Highest Package as far as I know this year is 43 LPA and average package stays between 6LPA and 7LPA. Students with 9 GPA and above are more likely to be placed, so the percentage might be less. My plans after degree are not that interesting and I want to improve myself as a Developer.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I joined the college by writing EAPCET exam in 2021. So, I got a seat in Vellore Institute of Technology , Amaravati. For every year, I'll be paying 70000 to the college. Before joining the college, I was asked to pay a caution fee/ deposit of 13,000, which they say they'll return after the graduation. Other than this, I haven't paid any registration fees, admission fees, development fees or lab fees. When it comes to people who got admission after qualifying VITEEE exam, pay generally a lot high which starts from 1 lakh per year to 5 lakh per year and more which I'm not quite sure of. As I joined this college qualifying EAPCET exam, I get a full scholarship i.e., all my fees is being paid by the Government. Students can apply to bank loans when needed and our college assists providing required documents.
Campus Life :
My life in college is pretty happy and good as our university mainly focuses on well-being of students. There will be many fests going all round the year, out of which VITAPP, a Tech Fest which is conducted in December and VITOPIA, a Cultural Fest which is conducted in February are spectacular. There will be many books available in the library. Books related to subjects are pretty available, but if you need books outside of study you have a chance of not finding them. The classrooms are maintained clean and good. There will be sports an extra curricular activities. There are indoor and outdoor stadiums available. Students can access the indoor stadium after 4'o clock in the evening. There are many clubs run by students and professors like Dance Clubs, Language Clubs, Technical Clubs and many of their interest. I'm not sure about any website run for students by themselves.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for a University Hostel as I stayed in a PG nearest to the college during my time. In that PG the food was quite food and a menu not much items. There would be non-veg two times a week. When it comes to Registration Process for University Hostel, as far as I know : Students are first allowed to register based on their interest for the hostel. The hostels are allotted in a First Come First Serve basis. If the students gets allotted to a hostel room. Then they are asked to pay the hostel fee based on the type of room they are allotted to complete their allotment. Students with higher GPA can choose the room mates of his/her room i.e., if I have a GPA like 9 something, I can choose the room mates who may have less GPA than me if I'm interested. The fee structure varies based on the type of rooms.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
