My Opinion On My College
Likes
- The most importantly i like the college infrastructure because it constructed with trees around with pleasant atmosphere. There are some faculty who are good and supportive to the students.
- The life in the campus is not bored. If we a long holidays we will definetly miss the campus we basically have 3 blocks in our college. The main block is for 1st year and civil students and second block for 2nd year CSE and core students and last block is for ECE,EEE students .
Dislikes
- I personally don't like some faculty in my department because they show partiality to the students and favour to only those students in any opportunities.
- The infrastructure like classes are not sufficient for the students and there are days like the students of different sessions are combined and sit together.
Remarks :
Actually i joined this college because my sister suggested me. So by her saying i selected this college as my first prefence and luckily i got CSE branch has i am interested in this branch. In 1st year the faculty and teaching was good and there guidance was also good. After that when we move to corresponding departments there is no much caring on students and it depends on the student to study or not. Lecture classes also was not going regularly. The notes also is not given properly and during exam time they will share the documents of related subjects. My admission to this college is based on my EAMCET exam. I secured 24000 in my exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I opted Computers in my BTech. Because i was interested in coding and placement opportunity will be more for the computer students. The qualification of the faculty is MTech and some other did there PhD. The teaching of the faculty in 1st year was too good and there guidance and caring towards students but after that year when we come to our departments there is no better faculty and teaching was not yet good. They are some faculty who teaches good but many of them rushes to complete there syllabus. Basically there are 2 semesters every year and 4 mid exams. After completion of every two mid exams there will be a semester exam. The two mid exams will be passed and can get good score as the marks are in our faculty hands but the semester results are not predicted. The process of correction is not in our faculty hands. The level of semester exam is difficult .
Internships Opportunities :
No, I have not opted any internship. But i did a community service project recently in 2nd year ending. There are no internships connected to our college. There is training session called Smart Interviews conducted for 3rd year students and the students whose performance is good are selected and they are selected has mentors for there juniors and they will receive the stipend.
Placement Experience :
The placements are started in 3rd year 2nd semester. The student should not have any backlogs and should have a good GPA in all semesters. There are few companies like Catalog, TCS etc who visited our college for campus recruitement. The highest package till 2024 is 25 LPA. And the average is 3.5 LPA. Only 25% students are getting placements every year due to corona affect but now it the placements are good. My plan is to secure a good placement in campus itself.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As i am a fees reimbursement student government will be paying 48000/- tuition fees every year. They also charge extra fees of 10000 /- for placement every year. The lab fees is collected based on the academics and number of record. The fees structure for payment students is 100000/- and they should pay this every year. There are different categories of payment structure for students like for some students both placement and tuition fees is payed by themselves. And for some students whose annual income is less than 1 lakh they will receive the fees by the government and only the placement fees is collected from them. There are also some scholarships for 1st year B tech students like pragati , AICTE etc.
Campus Life :
There is only one fest for year in our college that is freshers for 1st and 2nd year students and farewell for 3rd and 4th year students. This will mostly conducted in may moth every year. This fest is conducted 3 days day one will freshers for 1st and 2nd year and day two will be farewell for 3rd and 4th year students and third day is tradition day for whole college students. There is a library in campus we can get books related to academics and journals too. The college is good in sports like selected for state level badminton and some other games like chess etc. There are some clubs and hackathons conducted and many students have been selected.
Hostel Facilities :
The college hostel is not good. My rating is 3 out of 5. The Registration process is like we should fill the document paper and they will provide a parents card to us in which we can paste our parents photos in that and they will provide us out pass only when the people in the card come. They will collect the hostel fees at one time payment .Only those students who will pay full amount will be given the room. The fees for the hostel is not reasonable and high too. They will given a room with 6 members per room with no AC and proper cup boards. For every year the hostel fees is increased which is not reasonable.

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Placement Experience :
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.

Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
