Likes
- I like sports grounds and courts facility and nature of the college. Infrastructure of few buildings is really good. Faculty is well qualified and have good teaching skill, and also understands the students, really helpful for any aspect. Campus is really big and beautiful, the trees and their maintenance.
Dislikes
- There are few building which needed to be modified, and also there should be more sports encouragement. The things I dislike about faculty is that they some don't care about what is happening in a student life and less encouragement for other thing like clubs, sports, cocurricular activities. The hostels should be improved. The class hour should be reduced.
Remarks :
I joined this college because my cousin studied in JSS Mysore so he knew about this college he suggested, so when I got this college in 3rd round of k-cet counselling so decided to join. The good aspect of this college is that the nature here is really good they have so many trees and they take care these trees everyday. Other good aspect is the courts and ground facility for sports persons like me. The lab facility for both hardware and software courses. Few professors of this college are really good at what they do. The bad aspects are like there is no proper parking system, there is no water facility in every building, the bathrooms are really old and most of the time no proper maintenance.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was interested in electronics and electrical devices and instruments. I was really fascinated by these devices. I wanted to know how they work, how they are constructed, why we need them, what's the material used, what is physics behind these devices. Most of the professors in our college have got P.hd degree, few of them are M.tech graduates. Teaching method of most of the professors is really good, but for few courses they assign professors who didn't studied that subject in their life, so they just come tell something that is not that course. The exams are all on time as given in academic calendar and every semester the difficulty of exams is increasing.
Internships Opportunities :
So now I am in 5th semester I have not opted any internship yet. I wil be doing my internship next semester I want apply for few companies online internship so that it will be helpfull. I have done a feel employable program I don't think it as an internship.
Placement Experience :
The criteria for job placement is to maintain a high cgpa above 7, we need to attend all the activities done by traning and placement department. Cisco offers about 7 lpa packages, tcs offers about 3 to 5 lap packages, This year highest package is 34 lpa. Average package is about 5 to 6 lpa. 80% of students gets placed. I am planning to join a startup, because I can learn so many things which I can't learn in a well developed unicorn.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First year I paid about 92000rs to KEA board and about 24000rs to college and 1510rs and 2000rs were exam registration fee for first and second semester respectively. For second year I paid about 115551rs and 530rs and 32rs subject registration fee for third and fourth semester respectively and 56rs and 60rs exam registration fee for third and fourth semester respectively. For third year I paid about 114491rs in which 85686rs is admission fee,20805rs is other fees 8000rs is team adrenaline racing. For fourth year I will be paying somewhere about 115000rs. Those who came by comed-k and management they need to pay about 25000rs. The college fee is increasing every year.
Campus Life :
For odd semesters we have spandana and for even semesters we have halcyon, these are the cultural festival of our college. They are being conducted in second month of each semester. We have a really good library in which all the books needed for our courses are available and also other books are available also we have access to all journal, articles, published papers, conference papers. For sports persons like me there are all kind of facilities. We have two basketball courts, two badminton courts, tennis court, cricket ground, football ground , kho-kho court, volleyball court. In our college we have tedx, ieee, adreline racing and so on. There are about 50+ clubs in our college.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality of our hostel is really bad, they have same menu every week. Rooms of these hostels are really old. Bathroom are old and bad. registration is done through online payment in sit payment website, you can also pay through DD. The fee is also increasing every year and no improvements are there. There is no good wi-fi facility for everyone. Even if we complaint they don't care, they just give excuses. It is better to be in rented rooms.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
