- College is clean, well managed and has decent classrooms and Labs.
- Well equipped with some great Computers! awesome spec workstation labs. (64GB Ram, SSD's, i9-14th gen Processor)
Dislikes
- Lack of amenities, sports facilities and sports opportunities.
- Lack of technical exposure and talent pool. Academics is being given more weightage than technical skills.
- For North-Indians, a language barrier exists as people normally prefer speaking in Kannada here. (Both students and some faculties)
Remarks :
Good Aspects: The college has good infrastructure and liberal college life, not very strict. Course is simple and being an Autonomous Institution, makes the connect simpler and helps student-teacher communication regarding academics. Bad Aspects: The campus size is just too small and lacks basic amenities like in-campus outlets, doesn't even have a proper gym (just few dumbells and weight rods). Classes are nothing special, gives school vibes. No practically interactive classes where students can bring their laptops and engage. College doesn't have any active student clubs and hence lacks a lot on exposure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course here puts emphasis on majorly all aspects of a student, from leadership to cognitive skills. Most of the subjects are outdated but the faculties include their own touch to every course, which helps keep it to the industry standards. Faculties are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are well aware of the course and cater to our doubts in a very professional manner. We have 3 Internals and one Final Pattern, instead of a single Midterm and End term like other colleges. Exams are generally moderate and decent to score.
Internships Opportunities :
No, not yet. but current scenario is that there are no active internship opportunities and students are struggling to grab one. Maybe this is due to recession, but we hope the situation gets better soon. According to previous year data, companies hiring are Infosys, SAP, Bosch, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Amazon and etc. Highest on record Internship stipend offered is Rs. 45,000 per month.
Placement Experience :
Students after 6th sem are eligible for placements. well known companies like AWS, Infosys and IBM come to the campus. On records, the highest package here is 25LPA. I plan to try off-campus placements as soon as I complete my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year-wise fees: 2,21,046 (Lab fees and extracurriculars included) Registration fees (1st year): 20,000 For COMED-K Students. Fee differs for KCET Students (Comparatively lower) and some categories have scholarships available as well.
Campus Life :
Annual College Fest happens during May. It is combination of a vast majority of Cultural, Sports and Academic Activities. The library here is good and well-filled with all genres of books. Good reading environment and infrastructure. Staff is very supportive and helpful. Classrooms are just basic, like any other school classrooms, no step classes, no laptop bringing availability for students. Sports
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is great, clean and well maintained. Very helpful staff and decent amenities. Hostel is quite affordable and since there are no good PG's Around here, this is the best option for a Non-Bangalore resident. The food is decent, not very good but still manageable. Limited serves, eg. 3 chapati's only, rest you can fill up with rice, daal, and rasam. In terms of the time for the boys, it is from 6 am to 8pm.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
