- I love the gym , literally best thing in the world and affordable (6000/yr)
- The food courts are a dream , shawarma burgers , fries , momos , ice cream and brownies , it has everything u ever need .
- Also a few teacher here and really good, they genuinely care about ur education and want you to prosper (Faisal , prajwala, Swati ) these are just a few good names
- Location, every good go-karting zone is close to our college and metro is soon being built right outside aswell
Dislikes
- Mess food , first it's not always good , and on days it is , they don't give u more than 2 small chicken pieces , i usually cheat my way to get extra
- Airtel here barely gives 5g and holy shit the wifi here has most games blocked and usually never works well in hostel , but in college it's super fast
Remarks :
Well if in being honest I didn't choose this college , but was surprisingly the only decent college I was able to qualify for with merit , i surprisingly got a decent score in the PESSAT exam but considering the exam no longer exists , it will be slightly harder to get in as now only options are jee mains and kcet . No interviews were involved .
Course Curriculum Overview :
It's has been pretty stressful considering the exam schedule, 1st year almost feels like school (13th grade) as we don't choose the timings of classes or the classes we want to attend , and we also have subjects such as physics and chemistry and also constitution and EVS? why are computer science students learning about diseases and farming methods?? But after 1 at year it gets more branch oriented. Cs students and ec students have different subjects and classes . Our college is own as the Kota factory of placements so ????????
Internships Opportunities :
I havnt opted for any internships yet considering in still midway into 2nd year , but I definitely plan to, tho I've been working on a few projects here and there . I might not have much information on interships yet but I'm sure our college will help assists you through that.
Placement Experience :
Pretty good actually, ull still have to perform well in college which is probably anything above 8gpa , but for those above average and in that category, it should be a breeze , ull have food placement options (I'm talking about cs and aiml) (don't join ec atleast in pes ull not get placed), u can expect anything from 8-20 lakhs per annum and also go for masters for a boost , alot of intership opportunities aswell. Companies such as apple, hp , dell ,Intel have come to our campus . I have a senior who got into apple like this year itself
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have been having a constant fee for the past few years from what I've heard , the general entrance fee for college is 4.5lakh/year and the hostel is around 1.2lakh/year , but from kcet is gets much lesser which is around 50k/year
Campus Life :
I will be completely honest with you , PES electronic City campus has the best gym in all of Bangalore, beautiful new equipment, large area with boxing bags and everything ull ever need and also personal trainers , and even free yoga lessons for those interested. We also have a variety of clubs . Some which are for entertainment and fun such as dance clubs and photography clubs even dog clubs . Our campus has a bunch of really sweet dogs we take care of including vet visits for these babies. There are also educational clubs such as space , electronic, coding clubs etc . We are known for our amazing indoor badminton courts and darts pool tables etc we also have a website called "betterPES" which has multiple sources to help juniors with their studies.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess has its highs and lows 1st will be really mid , dal samber and occasionally chicken curry , Sunday's and always biriyani or mini feasts , but some days are so boring , ur better off ordering food online But 2nd yr is amazing, u get 2 mess options and both are amazing , flavour full curries and lots of rice varieties, applying for hostel is all there on the college website.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
