A Brief Overview of PES ECC Campus
Likes
- The campus in general is really good covering a large area so there are lots of spots to hang around
- The MRD Student Centre is where most students hang out pretty much all the time
Dislikes
- The main thing I dislike about the college is that it is way too far from my home and it gets tedious to travel to and fro everyday in Bangalore's traffic
- Also it lowkey looks like a zoo now with cages everywhere at every balcony
Remarks :
The college has its own entrance exam known as PESSAT. The cutoff of tht exam in my campus was around rank 7300 and the cutoff for my course was around 4200. My rank was 2135 My preparation for the PESSAT Exam was done along with my JEE prep.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because of the vast scope that it offers. Most of the faculty have obtained PHD's in their respective fields and teaching method is decent overall. Term exams are once every 2 months and difficulty level is usually moderate
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internship yet as internship opportunities arrive only during the 3rd year of the course. Most of my seniors are doing their internships right now and according to them it is a good experience while you get to learn new things along the way
Placement Experience :
Main eligibility criteria for placement is your CGPA. It has to be above 7 for you to be eligible to appear for placements. For the last batch around 200 different companies showed up like Apple, Azzure etc Highest package last batch was around 23 LPA and average is around 5 LPA Percentage of students getting placed is close to around 63% My main plans after degree are to maybe get a little bit of work experience before pursuing my masters.

Campus Life :
PES University as a while has 2 fests Electronic City Campus - Maaya (held in November) Ring Road Campus - Aatmatrisha (held in April) Books and journals are available pretty much 24/7 on the library Sports and extra curricular activities are provided enough to manage your college life along with studies. We have our own student center where we can play games and hang out with friends There are many clubs run by students like Panache(Fashion Club), Vegavath(Racing club) etc
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for a hostel but according to my friends, the hostel life is really fun and good. The food in their mess is also decent. Registration process for the hostel is usually done during admissions itself on the day where you confirm your seat I'm the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
