The admission process is quite simple, for convenor quots we need to give a state level examination which is EAPCET. Based on rank scores in EAPCET we'll know whether we're eligible for admission in MITS if soo which group will a candidate can get in MITS. The other one is management quota, for this eligibility is that candidate should belong to MPC in intermediate and needs to reserve seat in MITS in prior. Good Aspects: Decent campus Freeness to collaborate with other departments and in between students. They bring in placement offers with decent packages in MNCs Mostly, its Autonomous so the question paper will be of the college itself. And from this year it's been promoted as a University, which is a very good thing. Bad Aspects: You may find unworthy faculty in all the departments Hostel facilities are not well as of now both for boys and girls
I'm from Data Science. As this one is booming in IT Industry so I choose this field. Curriculum is good for this course but many companies expect from a fresher are not dealt in this course . But I would recommend this course because it's useful beyond job opportunities as a fresher.
Cognizant, lumen etc offer stipend internship and many iits, central Universities offer unpaid internships. In my 3-2 I've done internship at Mizoram central University. I've completed a project and went to conference also I got my patent for project.
There are placements in our institute with decent packages for mass hiring. And if any candidate is good enough he can crack high packages from institute itself. Also if a candidate is careless he may loose opportunity.
For Convenor quota it's 70k per year and if you hold Andhra Pradesh state ration card then you'll get 100% scholarship from state government. If any parent is govt employee or doesn't hold ration card then you're not eligible for this scheme. One can apply for other scholarships such as minority scholarships and for management quota it's nearly 2 lakhs and doesn't get ay support from government but are elgible for outer scholarships.
"Ashv " is the biggest fest for the college. It's a two day national event with all kinds of academics, non academics activities. You'll find almost every reference book required for the course and obviously the ieee access and plagiaraism software. Sports are also encourages if one is interested, but I didn't see many people choosing sports. So I believe it's not given importance in our college. We got SAC(student activity centre),NCC, NSS, skill bee club, foreign language and many more clubs
No I'm a day scholar but there are n number of pg hostels for boys and girls. There are limited seats for hostel in our college. So one may need to hurry to get slot confirmed. And also college hostel is not in the campus we need to move out of the campus to go for hostel. For girls college van is arranged to pick and drop at girls hostel . For boys they need to find their way to reacg college hostel.
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
