- All faculties here are experienced in their research field and studied from reputed institute from Indian and abroad. They are very interactive with the students. So, its one of the reason why I choose this college.
- College: Newly constructed and equipped with world class technology. All basic and advanced things are here for students.
Dislikes
- Weather here is very hot most of the time and UV is also strong here.
- This campus is far from the city approx. 31km from Tirupati
Remarks :
The admission process of the IISER Tirupati or any IISER is through IAT (IISER ADMISSION TEST). It includes the syllabus of class 11th and 12th (Physics, chemistry, biology and math's). The cutoff varies every year depending on the seats and number of students applying. Preparation: Lots of questions practice of JEE Mains level and biology of NEET level. Also solve previous year question papers of IAT. The exam is not too difficult, but yes experiment based questions are asked. I choose this college because of my interest in the research field and one major reason was subjects choice. The curriculum is vast and better subjects are there with experienced research experiences.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because of the interest in the research field and other reason is the curse curriculum and multiple subjects. The faculties here are very experienced in their research field and have 10-15 years of teaching experience. Every faculty here got their degrees from high reputed institutes both from India and abroad. the teaching method of all faculty is very good and they interacts too with students in friendly manner. Talking about the exams, there are 2 quizzes , one mid semester exam and end semester exam every semester. The frequency of the exam is good and not hectic. The syllabus sometimes becomes hectic but one can complete it by studying everyday.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship is not offered by institute, it all depends on students whether they want to to internship or not. Students are allowed to do internship work anywhere in their institute or outside India too.
Placement Experience :
There is no placement cell in our campus and no placement given to students after completion of their courses. Most of the students opts for higher educations or different fields like civil services or MBA Job opportunities: After BSMS, one can go for academic jobs like lecturer or teacher, private teaching in coaching's or industrial jobs too. After my degree, I will go for PhD.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Approx. Rs 100000 per year is the fees (Varies semester to semester). The tuition fees is around Rs 70000 per Sem, registration fees is Rs 1000, lab fees is Rs 500 and hostel fees is Rs3500 for general/OBC/EWS/KM & for category SC/ST/PD the tuition fees is not there. Kindly refer to the official website for new updates. There are various scholarships here like INSPIRE (for freshers only), NSP for central govt. scholarships, Reliance scholarship, state scholarship etc.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is good and its now more better as most of the construction is completed. We do enjoy and celebrates a lot of festivals like Onam, Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, Holi etc. We do have our fest VIVANTE that happens around January. Our library permanent building is still under construction but we do have temporary library that have all the books, scientific papers and journals for students needs. Also sports complex is ready, we do have basketball ground, volleyball ground, badminton court, cricket and football ground, table tennis ground and Kho-Kho. We also have IISM inter sports meet and IICM. We have various clubs like arts, photography, biology, chemistry, physics, Astro, math's, Rainbow etc., runs by students and headed by professor's.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, BSMS students have to reside in campus, its compulsory. But its not compulsory for PhD & Post doc. The registration for hostel is through online method and the fees is included in the semester fees. Once you are here, hostel warden will allot you the room. About mess and food, its bit expensive but the taste is fine. There are two mess and pay and eat is the rule.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
