- As the college is new, the infrastructure is world class with all the facilities a student needs. Currently few things are under-construction so you may feel different but it's fine. The construction will end soon. The campus is life is good not very good as the college is 30km far from main city. But IIT Tirupati is only 5km, you can go there also.
- Hostels as it is new but it's fantastic. Every things a student needs is there. About rooms, we have 2 students in one room rule. We have 2 beds, 2 almirahs, 2 study table and 2 shelf. Only 1 fan is there. But we have 2 windows so we don't face problems.
Dislikes
- Campus: the one thing that I dislike is that the construction is taking very much time. We do t have a permanent sports complex building. We do t have athletes track. We dont have perfect gym.
- One more thing is that we have restriction. You can't roam after 12:30 midnight. You are allowed to go outside of the campus till 6 PM only. These are few restrictions we are facing. We dont have a official student council.
Remarks :
To get selected for IISER, one has to clear the IAT exam which is the IISER Aptitude Test. The eligibility of the exam is that you have to be a fresher dropper or double dropper only. The exam fee is 1000Rs for everyone and the syllabus is Physics chemistry biology and Maths. The exam included theoretical and experimental questions. Each year cutoff changes and it depends on the number of students appearing for the exam. So the question is why do I choose to study at IISER Tirupati? Why not another IISER? And the most important why IISER only? So the reason is I want to pursue biology research. It was my dream to become a biological scientist. IISER has everything that a research student needs on the path to being a scientist. I chose IISER Tirupati because of the professors and it's a new college with lots of different minds. In every aspect the college is good but as a new college, it lacks a few things like not a lot of different subjects and some restrictions on ur college life.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As this college is new, the courses are limited but they are constantly improving. This course is made for research-oriented. Here faculties are outstanding and studied at very renowned universities and have a lot of experience. The teaching method is research-oriented, they will teach you in a theoretical manner and experimental with this they will allow you to think like a researcher. Coming to the exams part, each semester is 4 months. 2 Quiz, sem and end sem will be there. The exams are easy to moderate. Studying here is now a bit costly but worth it. You will be in a national importance college and you will get to know the importance of IISER when you apply somewhere for internships, jobs or phd. Yeah, fees are hiking but only in IISER, it's increasing everywhere. But yes you will be eligible for different scholarships like INSPIRE, NSP, and state scholarships. There are reliance scholarships also. For fees, you can check the official website.
Internships Opportunities :
We are applying for an internship. Students apply in their subject of interest. You can do an internship in IISER Tirupati or anywhere where you want to do an internship. Internship is optional so it's up to you. You can apply to any other college any research institute govt and private. Toh can also apply for foreign internships. As I am interested in cancer biology, I went to ACTREC for my internship.
Placement Experience :
There is no placement cell in IISER Tirupati and after completion of BSMS, no one gets jobs by the institute. Mostly people fo for PhD and some for different jobs. We all are waiting for the placement cell to be started but actually, no one is interested in doing jobs after BSMS and very few industries accept you for the job.
Campus Life :
Our campus is very beautiful and good, we have a good cafeteria, mess complex, admin building, UG lab and lecture hall, lecture complex, research complex, auditorium, and library. We also have a gym (it's small) but soon we will get a newly constructed gym. We have badminton, volleyball, basketball court, football and cricket ground. We have a daily shop where you will get everything. Temporarily we have a library in the hostel. And we have all the books and journals that are required in our course. We have different clubs for different topics and subjects and from time to time, we organise events, meet etc. We have our fest known as Vivante usually occurs in March. And we celebrate all festivals here. BSMS are only allowed to stay in a hostel, no one is allowed to stay outside. Hostels are new and well-equipped with all the essentials. Mess food is good and paying to eat is the current option. 4-5k will be the cost per month, but it all depends on what you eat.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Placement Experience :
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
