I personally was selected by this college through the state level exam KCET(Karnataka Common Entrance Test) which I took in may of 2023. There are levels of selection based on your rank. my scores were average so I got selected in the 3rd out of 4 rounds with the particular majors I wanted among the list of colleges I had entered. I had prepared very well by completely focusing myself for studies to take up the exam for 2 years prior the exam. But unfortunately my dad passed away at the beginning of the month may so I couldn't really get the scores I was capable of.
I was never interested in any of the courses out there and at first it was just the pressure by parents. but later on I actually took liking in tech and thought might as well do something with it. am learning new things everyday and I guess I can admit that I like learning new things. The faculty of the CSE dept in my college is by far the best faculty compared to other departments. The teachers are up to par with the teaching. The college prioritizes learning activities over tests and exams unlike other colleges where they stress the students over by just giving assignments and internals and presentations which have very less to no use at all in the industry.
I'm still in my second year and focusing on upskilling in my domain. I'm currently learning web development and starting with HTML and CSS. I will learn JavaScript after am done with the other 2. I'm going to be learning both backend and front end.
To be blunt there are very less placement and job opportunities given it is a tier 3 college. One would have to work very hard to build their professional presence especially online through LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitter essentially. Participate in hackathons, ideathons, national level tech events, seminars and events organized by well known companies and make connections and always stay updated. Don't forget that "network is your NetWorth".

the crowd is decent, but I wouldn't say they're caught up with the norms and trends of the social media like every other generic Genz. Socializing could be hard given the crowd but there are nice people everywhere so there's nothing to worry about that. The library has most of the required study materials and reference project materials in abundant source. From this year Google developers Group is on CEC campus and has built a community in our college with strong core members and volunteers. Myself a part of the community would like to say it is a wonderful platform aiming to learning and guiding.
I haven't opted for a hostel as I live an hour away from the college. Although as per as I've heard from the peer the hostel maintenance is not that good, and students prefer to live in PGs or rented places. Nothing surprising about this as the situation is same as rest all universities in Bangalore.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
