I was personally selected by taking the state level exam called KCET(Karnataka common entrance test). the colleges are alloted based on the scores and I got an average score so I was selected to this tier 3 college in 3rd round out of 4 rounds.
I wasn't interested in any of the science majors to be honest but engineering seemed like worth a shot so here I am. I am currently in 2nd year and I've actually build liking into my course and can see myself in the industry. the qualifications of the lecturers of the CSE dept is up to the par and teaching is quite decent given a tier 3 college.
I am currently in my 2nd year so am not in any internships yet. I am focusing on upskilling in my desired domain so I can get internships in the field am interested in. I am focusing on devops and learning multiple languages.
again it's a tier 3 college so the job placements are not what one can expect. the curriculum first of all has a wide gap between what it's teaching and wha the industry wants so solely depending on what college is teaching is going to get you nowhere.
CET: tuition fee-1,04,915 lab/library/sports-20,000 university & exam fee-8,010 total=1,32,925 MANAGEMENT CSE: tuition fee-1,75,000 lab/library/sports-20,000 university & exam fee-8,010 total=2,03,010
the extra curriculum in this college is quite uneventful. but there are tech events like hackathon and ideathon held every now and then so that's a plus I guess. the college library has vast range of study materials and project materials and reports we can refer to.
I am a day scholar. but as much as I've heard from my peer who live in the hostel, it is very bad and most of them live in PGs and rented places. it is not that surprising that college hostels are not that good in any universities in Bangalore.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
