Likes
- I do like the faculties. They have a good behaviour and teaches us the concepts clearly.
- The Design Lab is so good. The computer lab is well developed.
Dislikes
- We do have some strict rules so I hate it.
- As a college that follows Hindu religion, we do have so many events.
Remarks :
There is only one Communication design college in Kerala. We have institutes which teach us B.Des as whole but not in specific. So I researched about it and found out that Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has it and I chose it. As a B.des Communication Design student, I had an Online Interview where we should showcase our portfolio containing our artworks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as I loved designing posters. I had a passion in arts. The faculties are well trained and even professors are there to teach us. We have an exams before each End Semester Exams. The exams are quite easy if you have worked hard for it.
Internships Opportunities :
As a First year student, I can't actually tell any of the companies but I do know that we have good placements. To get a good placement, we do have to work hard for it. No colleges provide spoon feeding to their students so do work hard for it.
Placement Experience :
We do have good placements. I'm a first year student so I don't know more about it but my seniors do got placed it good companies. At the same time we ourselves have to work hard and search for placements because it is true that every college in India doesn't provide 100% placement schemes. To get a good job placements, from our side we do have to study hard and work for it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total tution fees for one year is 1 ,00,000 INR. A year contains 2 Semesters. Each semester costs 49,000 INR. The Registration fees is 500. The caution deposit is 3000 INR. If you are choosing B.sc Visual Media & Communication, you will have so many events so you have to spend below 500 INR for each events.
Campus Life :
We, Bdes students have 2 events in each year. They are pretty good events. We have a good library. Faculties opt us to go there and refer for further doubt. Each classroom has one huge TV for ppts. Also we have so many clubs such as Environment club, Hindi club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Actually boys hostel is not there but we do have girls hostel. The mess food is actually boring and they have prayers. The hostel is so strict that we have to get signature from our concerned coordinators if you want to go out of the college campus. The hostel is situated inside the college campus.

Placement Experience :
Not yet attempted for placements, but so far the placements in previous years where quite good. Lots of MNCs , core industries etc picks students from the campus. I think more than half of last year's passouts were placed in campus drives.

Placement and job opportunities were higher and after the completion of course we can get job at Malabar cancer itself and the placement were done by campus interview and the student can participate and get the job
Amazing campus Life, poor career growth

There are currently no placement cell in this college which is pretty disappointing for a college as old as 150 years that too with elite alumnis. There have been planning for proper placement cell but as of now there is nothing

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
