Pretty Good Course, lot of things, good lineup of subjects, I chose this subject cause it's more focused on the future, since payments and I general everything going digital might as well get an advantage. The qualification of the faculty is great, Especially Dr.Somashekaran, he has too much qualifications, teaching methods are pretty good but I would suggest hitting the library every once in a while it could really help. There is no postponement of any exams atleast that's what I heard from the seniors, if they say a time the term exams are done on that time, no change whatsoever, I guess the difficulty really depends on how you study but I would say it's hard, infact pretty easy to handle. But yea overall it's all pretty good
Internships come around the 4th year so by far I don't know much but I did hear offers from Rebel Foods, so that's there that much I know too it. But contacting and getting in touch with the CIR department gives you an advantage
Read Full ReviewI chose this course because I am interested in IT field and the faculties are very good they're supportive, very good at teaching, well organised. The exams went like scheduled and it was moderate level
The factors were the ranking of the college in All India Level and some of my family members studied in Amrita University plus the campus placement is very good. Well I had to attend an interview to get admission in this college and the interview was easy for me, they asked basic questions related to computer science and mathematics
Read Full ReviewI choose this course because of my passion for creativity and visual storytelling this course offers me a perfect platform to express my skills. I'm not entirely satisfied with the faculty that they provide the teaching approach is often too theoretical , with limited focus on practical applications in problem solving . I feel the faculty could improve by updating their methods and being more involved in students growth
The campus placements at this college are limited especially for creativite fields communication design . Most students need to rely on off campus placements or internships to find roles that aligns with their skills and interests . As for my plans after completing this course . I am to build a career in design industry focusing on branding, UI/UX ,etc
Read Full ReviewI chose this course because I am interested in it but also due to the job opportunities. The syllabus is well structured and the faculty is well qualified , however the teachers does have the freedom to look at everything in a subjective manner and hence are allowed to treat students according to their likes and dislikes
Best part of this university is campus placements . There are good companies who comes to the university for recruiting students . A good number of students are placed every year with an average of 3lakh rupees per year as starting salary . All the students are equally trained and are practice for placements . My plan is to take masters after the course
Read Full ReviewSome of the faculties are good in teaching but the others are not quite good at it . But they are helpful. Sometimes when the semester exams are close they try to complete the modules so fast . And they rush . The course curriculum is kinda easy atleast for me .
They say the placement is quite good . And there are Recruiters like Infosys , TCS , vipro , Hitachi etc. 95 to 97 percentage of students getting placed on an average. My plan is to pursue in Cloud computing or full stack developer.
Read Full ReviewCourse curriculum is the best there is and the academics is good but there are some subject that are extra as part of their collage its really bad. And the faculties are all PhD in what they teach and all of them have field experience of more than 15 years.
Its good they provide the best placement system. They also have periods called CIR that prepare you in advance about placement etc.. . I like to go to work as a UI/UX designer as my job after completing my study here. You should have higher CGP grades to get good placement.
Read Full ReviewOverall this is a college where one shouldn't expect any events or much of entertainment as this college has a temple in the premises the dean doesn't allow much to happen, yes b.des and visual media students have events but other students don't have many things to get treated to. I chose this college as I would be away from Pune and would live an independent life with spontaneity, the staff is mediocre classes won't happen often for this branch but yes they are highly intellectual. There are 2 semesters per year with 4 exams, 1 mid sem and 1 final per sem, these exams aren't difficult at all if we go throught the notes once and be active listeners in the lectures we will be able to score without hassle. Course deals with everything to do with design and development, my course is a very skill based course which is often opted by people who are creative and know their way of going about their career.
Amrita seems to boats about their 100% placements but it is only for those who put 100% of themselves and need to work hard, students who've passed out are doing good for themselves as they have gotten good placements and selections in different industries, multiple companies and different workfields, highest package to be recorded for other courses is 19 lakhs but as out branch is new it doesn't have alumni or pass outs, my branch is considerably new and will need a few more years for it to yield colours, there are multiple viewpoints which make me confident in Amrita yet I have my own doubts which will ofcourse be cleared in the course of future.
Read Full ReviewCollege course is of different extra subject which has more values to it . Facilities of this college is average when it comes to football ground. Then when it comes to academic it is very important to maintain cgpa and sgpa , as to avoid supplies it is very important.
We have good placements and it is from different companies , at 5 sem and we can apply for the placements as for pass out year as well . Which helps us to get job as a fresher, it is really helpful in many ways .
Read Full ReviewI chose this course as I loved designing posters. I had a passion in arts. The faculties are well trained and even professors are there to teach us. We have an exams before each End Semester Exams. The exams are quite easy if you have worked hard for it.
We do have good placements. I'm a first year student so I don't know more about it but my seniors do got placed it good companies. At the same time we ourselves have to work hard and search for placements because it is true that every college in India doesn't provide 100% placement schemes. To get a good job placements, from our side we do have to study hard and work for it.
Read Full ReviewThis course has a better scope The faculties are real life doctors who work at the medical hospital. Sot they are very well qualified. The teaching method is not so very good but you will be able to catch up with it with the help of asst.professors
Wrote a written test and the competiton was very tuff The college is very vast and most of the parts are basically the medical hospital so you won't be able to enjoy very much The celebrations are minimal but you will be able to enjoy.
