The curriculum is well structured and clinically oriented. I have always been interested in clinical exposure and patient-focused learning is the reason to choose this course. Academics are taken seriously, with regular classes, seminars and presentations. All faculty members are highly qualified, with the majority holding a PhD degree, and some are currently pursuing a postdoc. The teaching approach is a mix of classroom teaching, discussions and practical exposure. While teaching quality may vary slightly between faculty members, overall, it is effective and supportive. Regarding assessments, term exams are conducted strictly on time. Each semester usually includes two sessional and one university exam.
The placement process at Amrita is good. We can apply from the first year onwards. Two of our batchmates from another department got selected for one year internship when Novartis came for placement. With a salary of 25,000 per month with training.
Read Full ReviewAmrita does provide more convenient curriculum and marking system. Although we have a tight schedule but faculties are doing their best to make us don't feel that congestion. There are professors, assistant professor's and associate professor's. We basically have two internal exams in every three months, and semester exam every six months. About the difficulty of exams I would say it is moderate.

Read Full ReviewThe faculty incharge are very knowledgeable with most of the faculty completed PhD . The classes are regular and faculties are very helpful in every aspect. There will be an academic calender which is provided in the beginning of the academic year and the whole year is passing according to this only. The whole academic process is very punctual with two sessionals on theory and practical in each semester and a University exam. The syllabus is difficult.
There is placement office in the college with most most of students are passing out with placement. From the third year onwards they are moulding the student on how to appear for an interview and on improving the vocabulary and logical reasoning.
Read Full ReviewI choose this course to be a clinical pharmacist. Almost all the faculties are doctorate holders. They have a very excellent teaching method. The examinations are always held on time according to the annual calender. The questions are mostly application level questions. They are moderate to hard level papers. Failure rate is very low as students are able to gain marks according to the standards.

Read Full ReviewThis course offer many job opportunities especially abroad. The pharmD and Bpharm syllabus is based on the PCI curriculum. Amrita have well qualified and experienced group of faculties it even include World's 2% scientist as faculty. The teaching method is mostly student centred with many interactive sessions and practical labs . For pharmD the main university exams are conducted once a year since it is a yearly program with 3 internal exam from which average of best two marks are added to final result . Pharm D program is comparatively costly than Bpharm
Placement opportunity for Pharm D programe is less compared to B pharm. The placement has been increased by 25% for B pharm and declining for pharm D in 2022 with median average package of 4LPAfor pharm D. The top recruiting companies for pharm D include Tata Consultancy, indegene, KIMS etc.
