The curriculum is well structured and clinically oriented. I have always been interested in clinical exposure and patient-focused learning is the reason to choose this course. Academics are taken seriously, with regular classes, seminars and presentations. All faculty members are highly qualified, with the majority holding a PhD degree, and some are currently pursuing a postdoc. The teaching approach is a mix of classroom teaching, discussions and practical exposure. While teaching quality may vary slightly between faculty members, overall, it is effective and supportive. Regarding assessments, term exams are conducted strictly on time. Each semester usually includes two sessional and one university exam.
Novartis is the company that came with an internship offer with a stipend of 25000 per month with training. Mainly they are dealing with quality operations. With regular exams and screening before promotions.
The placement process at Amrita is good. We can apply from the first year onwards. Two of our batchmates from another department got selected for one year internship when Novartis came for placement. With a salary of 25,000 per month with training.

Life at our campus is mostly academic- focused, with a balanced mix of cultural and extracurricular activities. The arts fest, Dhwani, is usually conducted in November and gives students a good platform to showcase their talents. The sports fest Udhgosh , takes place in April -May, encouraging participation in indoor and outdoor sports and promoting teamwork and fitness. The library is well equipped, with availability of most required textbooks and journals in hard copy as well as e-books and online resources. The institution has subscriptions to international journals, which are very helpful for research and postgraduate studies. College conducts many national and international seminars frequently, which helps to connect with international speakers and get updated with recent innovations in our fields.
I opted for college hostel, and overall, the accommodation is worth the cost in terms of basic infrastructure. The rooms are well-maintained and suitable for students who prefer staying close to campus. For postgraduates, the mess is not available; we should arrange it from outside. Hostel registration can be done by contacting the college office.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
