Well, Amrita is pretty reputed for its overall capability to provide jobs, pretty good chances when you enter this college, plus they offer some pretty good internal opportunities to develop the person, like certain seminars or workshops, even holds hacakathons, No Written Tests, or Group Discussions but I did attend an interview with the vice principal.
Pretty Good Course, lot of things, good lineup of subjects, I chose this subject cause it's more focused on the future, since payments and I general everything going digital might as well get an advantage. The qualification of the faculty is great, Especially Dr.Somashekaran, he has too much qualifications, teaching methods are pretty good but I would suggest hitting the library every once in a while it could really help. There is no postponement of any exams atleast that's what I heard from the seniors, if they say a time the term exams are done on that time, no change whatsoever, I guess the difficulty really depends on how you study but I would say it's hard, infact pretty easy to handle. But yea overall it's all pretty good
Internships come around the 4th year so by far I don't know much but I did hear offers from Rebel Foods, so that's there that much I know too it. But contacting and getting in touch with the CIR department gives you an advantage
Roughly,50000 per sem but it could decrease if you are eligible and accepted for scholarships, at the beginning there is a caution deposit of 3000, Scholarships are available if you have above 90% in 12th Board Exams or State or ICSE. Anyways in total it would come around to 400000
So far we haven't had any fests, celebrations are a bit on the lower end infact it's pretty less not really there that much but that wouldn't be much of a bother, its really easy to socialise with people in general,. Library is not vast but it's pretty big and filled with books that could and could not help you but that really depends on what you are looking for, like i said sports and extracurricular activities are really less it happens but not like other colleges. IEDC Amrita is one of the clubs for aspiring entrepreneurs that has pretty good facilities tied up with Kerala Startup Initiative and there are other bunch of clubs focusing on Eco, Languages and Vulture etc.
Amrita don't have any male hostels, they would have to take Rent a Room, Join A PG or go for outside male hostels, in Brahamstahnam, Kunnapuram and Edappally it's should be easy to find hostels and PG's in general. I have heard that the girls hostel is pretty average, it's ok and has some good facilities like WIFI and access to hot water,l.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
