NMAMIT as a college has a very vibrant campus which we NMAMITians call it as green campus . The management is excellent and the placement department is doing a great job . My personal reason for joining NMAMIT was it's amazing placement and perfect sync of curricular academics and co-curricular activities. The faculty has some of the most experienced and skilled lectures in most of the courses. As a day scholar i do not have much information about the hostel but as per my friends review it could be rated 7.5/10. Now comes the very common question how to get into NMAMIT. to get into NMAMIT u need to appear for a entrance test (NUCAT) which will contain 3 papers( physics, chemistry, maths) of moderate level difficulty. If u get a rank of 500 or below u can avail the merit seat. After this u will have to submit your documents to finalize your seat. To prepare for the write test it would be similar to CET so.. if u are well prepared for CET u can crack NUCAT .
The reason for me choosing ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION was my personal interest in that particular course. Taking about the faculty the overall faculty on NMAMIT can be rated 9/10 and being specific on ECE the facilities are highly educated and have deep knowledge on the subject. The methods of explaining each nd every topic is commendable. Most of the lectures are phd holders and rest few are post graduates. Talking about the exams the semester is usually of 5 months odd sem from August - December and even sem from January - may. Each sem has 2 sessional exam named(MSE-mid sem exam) which is for 20 marks each subject. And 1 sem end examination for 100 marks. In between these we have 3 tasks per subject that could be class test, viva, assignment or MCQ test which is out of 10 (4+4+2) . There are few subjects that also include labs which are called integrated subjects where 2 lab exams are also conducted of 50 marks (20+30).
As a second year student I haven't done any internships except 1 . NMAMIT has a rule of doing a compulsory internship in your 2st year . You will be allotted a lecture incharge as a mentor and you will be made into a group of 5 where in you can do any level 1 project or research as a part of your academics. Also from 3rd year there are companies that come to the campus to recruit students of intership what a good stipend and certificate of experience.
NMAMIT provides excellent placement opportunities as per statistics 90-95% students get place every year from NMAMIT. there r 3 types of companies that comes to NMAMIT 1- mass recruitment companies. 2- dream company. 3- super dream company. Mass recruitment companies as the once that recruits 100+ students in a single visit and gives a average salary of 3-7 LPA . dream companies are also called as core companies that give u a average salary of 12-17 LPA and super dream companies are those which give u a package of 20+ LPA . In NMAMIT we also have a privilege to get selected the some of the top companies in Japan by their international placements program. The Highest package of NMAMIT is 52 LPA and average salary is 10-12 LPA . U also have a option to try off campus placements if ur not satisfied by campus placement and u also have an option of higher studies after the completion of your B-tech course
NMAMIT aspirants out there ... Getting in NMAMIT has a moderate level of difficulty. Basically the fee structure depends on your merit in the entrence examination (NUCAT). Regarding the fee structure, If u get a merit seat u will have to pay only 10,000 as an examination fee and the entire tution fee will be cut off . If u do not get the ranked seat then u will have to pay the NUCAT tution fee that varies depending on the course. Eg. (ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION- 1,50,000+10,000 exam fees COMPUTER SCIENCE- 3,00,000+ 10,000 exam fees Mechanical- 1,20,000 +10,000 exam fee) and so.. on Mostly the IT related courses are in the range of 2,50,000- 4,00,000 And , non-IT related courses are in range 1,00,000 to 2,00,000 U can also available another option of NRI quota of u have a family member (upto 1st relative only) working in abroad. Also there are scholarships that u can avail once u enter the college based on your engineering marks.

As a day scholar i have no experience on how hostel life is but as per my frnds experiences I could give a few details, The mess food can be rated 6/10 , The hostel in timings is 6pm for 1st years and 9 pm from 2nd yr onwards . The rooms are quite spacious and the hostel has free wifi connection. The room can be selected including washroom or common washroom. Overall the hostel can be rated 7.5/10

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
