- Very Peace Environment with very less pollution or Traffic
- Free Clinic for students which doesnt even charge for anything( Medicines , Scan reports or anything ) Its completely free.
Dislikes
- No Proper Place within the Campus to Sit or Socialize
- Faculties are not upto the mark , Need to do Hands On
Remarks :
Good Aspect of Our College is : Its very peace over here since its located in the middle of a village (9 km away from karkala) . Management is pretty Good. Extra-curicular and Cultural events take place every week. Bad Aspects: If you don't know the local language(tulu) its very difficult to Socialize in Clubs . Lot of Politics happens in Club where Tulu People supress other guys who don't know Tulu . Even Teachers and College Support Them . Most of the Professors just don't update . They Teach what they learnt in their 90s . No Update according to Trend. Library is pretty Congested and old with very rude librerians with hell lot of rules . Apart from 3-4 hotels in Nitte , If you want something you should go to Udupi/manipal or Manglore (which is 40-50kms away) . Admission is through their own exam called as NUCAT. I didnt study exclusively for the exam . But it was pretty easy . I got around 650 rank .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Information science because i didn't get CS . But after joining i feel i made a good decision since i have passion towards Security related stuff and IS also offers courses regarding it which CS don't offer . Many Faculties in our department have phd and Teaching method of them are just mediocre . Only Few Professors do Hands-on. We have total 2 internals and 1 see . Internals are pretty easy to score but SEE is Medium rated difficulty.
Internships Opportunities :
We have atul incubation center within the Campus which has many Startups . They Offer some Internships for Students of NMAMIT. I'm not sure about stipend . I think its unpaid internship because one of my friend is doing intership over there.
Placement Experience :
No Backlogs is the Eligibily Criteria here . Finnacle , Nutanix , Texas instruments , TCS , Accenture etc . Finnacle hired around 60 people last year . Highest package is around 52LPA and average is 7LPA. Our Branch its 70-80%. My Plan is to get job after completing Btech.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Since ours is First Batch of NUCAT ( which is their own Entrance exam ) my Fees is 210000 which includes exam fee of 10 thousand.Mine is without Scholorship. The Classmates who have scholorship are paying 130000 which includes exam fee of 10 thousand . Yes Fees is getting increased for subsequent batches i.e 2023 and 2024 . But ours is kept as it is(210000 and 130000) .
Campus Life :
Incredia is the Main Yearly once Fest which is held . In Feb 2024 it was held this year. Library has many good Books and Journals , Classroom Amenities are Average . They Don't turn on AC when Needed in classrooms. Sports is Top-Notch in Nitte.
Hostel Facilities :
Food is Mediocre , Its coupon system . They Provide Chicken 4 days a week and rest 3 days fish . Daily Afternoon we can opt for Egg . Registration Process should be done in Hostel Office which is in AJP Block Ground Floor. Hostel is pretty affordable too , I pay 60 k for a Year ( Non-AC 2 sharing with attached bathroom) .

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
