The main reason I chose this college is because of its campus and affordability, the college also offered the fees to be paid in two instalments so it was much easier. The campus is huge and has multiple things to do when you’re bored, the college hosts many events and competitions so you wouldn’t get bored. The part I didn’t like about the college is that it has bad crowd it could’ve been solved by having an entrance test which would’ve made it better.
The teaching is good, there are many teachers who are amazing, their way of approach is good they are very open so you can approach them any time. The reason I chose this course is because it’s high paying in the IT industry.the timings for midterms were 1 hour 30 mins and end terms are of 3 hours, coming to difficulty the exams are moderate, they are not too hard or too easy. They can be cleared easily but scoring well is difficult
There are many internship opportunities available as the university keeps updating us on these opportunities, students can definitely opt for them but personally I never have, you can get certified by opting for these internship programs
The placements are average, the eligibility criteria for placements is to have 7.5+ CGPA. Few companies that visited dell, shell, tech mahindra, etc. the highest package was around 13L per annum, and lowest around 2L per annum, around 90% of the students were placed after placements. My plans after getting the degree is to get a high paying job through placements or by my own by looking for interviews
The full tuition fees is 350000 and it can be paid in two instalments, 70% in the first instalment and 30% in the second. There is no additional fees to be paid apart from this.SC/ST category students get additional scholarships. There are many scholarships like merit based, Jammu and Kashmir students, Andaman and Nicobar and northeast scholarships, presidency group scholarships, orphans, single parent(widow mother),sports category, defence category, SC/ST category, Kendra vidyalaya scholarship, physically challenged , sibling/twins, JEE qualified and common entrance test (CET) qualified.
The campus life is good at presidency, they host various events, recently we had mind rocks fest in which a lot of celebrities like MC square and jonita Gandhi had come. The main event is Invincia which is held in the month of may which has a lot of celebrities coming too. The library has a lot of books which are helpful, there are different libraries for different schools like school of engineering has a different library, management has a different one and so on, the library also has story books and comics which can be accessed as well to kill your boredom. The college has a varieties of sports and coaching for it as well, they also conduct sports events in which you can take part. There are many social clubs which you can enroll yourself in few of them are NCC, NSS, theatres, sports, etc.
The hostels are great, the food is average, the affordability is average too as PG’s can be taken for a lesser price but the hostel rooms and campus is amazing but it’s located outside the campus but there is shuttle service from hostel to the university, the hostel fees is 145000 per annum for triple sharing and 175000 per annum for double sharing. Renting a room would be better but the college is located in a place where the main Bangalore city is far away so if you want to hangout around the city it’s going to be hectic.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
