ACS College of engineering is the only college other than Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Sciences which proviedes the Biomedical Engineering course. We had to go to college and block the seat personally or we can go through Cet and comedk
The course is excellent, curriculum is relevant, teachers are super friendly and are well qualified with a Phd. We have 3 internal tests per semester and best for 3 are taken for the finals. Exams are made easy as teachers give important questions and tell us exactly how to study.
No. Since im in semester 5, my internships are yet to start. Internships start 6th semester onwards. But we are exposed to various event and training programs which last a week and we are taken to other colleges for technical events through IEEE and other clubs.
Placements are guaranteed for biomedical engineering students 80% of them are placed in to hospitals and the remaining have moved for higher studies abroad. Biomedical engineering combines engineering and Healthcare which is the fastest growing industry right now, promising high paying jobs.
K-CET and Comedk students get a guaranteed scholarship. My batchmates pay around 1.35L, some pay 90k, only management seats are 1.55L. Every year a compulsory VTU registration fee needs to be paid according to your year.
Fests are conducted during every even semester (once in 6 months), the library is well maintained and has various books for each department specifically. Sports and other extra curricular activities are entertainend and supported, students are taken to other cities and colleges for tournaments. We have events like VTU tournaments, chairmans trophy and sports day etc.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
