Remarks :
Well, Ironically I did not choose this college on my own, I appeared in the Common University Entrance Test [CUET] and as required, I constructed a Preference List of colleges and courses and based on my score [705.2/800] and Category (General), I was selected for this college's admission process. My Elder brother also graduated from this college in 2021 and based on his reviews, I made a perception that this college is an average South Campus College which did appear to be true during my initial days, but things got really really better after I spent more time with the teachers, staff members and the students. The infrastructure development within 2 years is just phenomenal which include Smart Classrooms, Centralized AC Library and incredibly clean washrooms which are even used by faculty members with no issue. Thus, Although these facilities might seem normal, A major chunk of Delhi University colleges do not even possess these mere facilities which makes it better for us in SBSC.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is Bachelor of Arts [B.A Program (History+Political Science)] and so far my experience as an average student seems normal, as there are both good and not so good teachers, but majorly they do help in passing exams and gaining knowledge truthfully. Our college's topmost course is B.com hons, which has 7 WHOLE SECTIONS and approximately 750-800 students in a single batch!! That's the reason why some people even call our college "Shaheed Bhagat Singh college of commerce" as a joke in context of "Sri Ram College of Commerce" the best college in whole of Asia for pursuing Bcom hons.
Internships Opportunities :
Personally, I haven't opted for any internships but there are a variety of Internship Programs and just like placement, There is an Internship Cell as well which has a sole purpose of providing Internship opportunities to the students.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement are reflected through packages in today's life so let's dive into actual data and observe average packages of this college's students- Majorly average package for this college is 9 Lakh Per Annum which is considered a decent amount of money. There is a whole Placement Cell in the college that only works to spread awareness among the students for their potential packages and placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total annual fee for the college was only 6000/- in 2023 but it increased to 16070/- due to various reasons as mentioned by UGC and the college administration. Still, The SBSC Administration did an amazing job in providing Student Aid Fund and successfully refunded Rs. 10000/- to the students in need, who were selected through an entire process of interviewing and facts checking. If we talk about scholarships, There are various scholarship programs launched under the name of our Honorable Principal Mr. Arun Kumar Attree, which has definitely helped economically weaker sections and students who do not possess a huge financial background.
Campus Life :
Life at campus can be described as "balanced", Like if you are willing to solely study and gain knowledge, our college has resources for that too and if you want to have fun at places, food, beverages, or hobbies like dancing and singing, there are societies for them likewise which tend to create a healthy environment in the campus. "Divyotsav" is the fest that oftenly conducted in October, and "Kalakriti" is another that takes place in April. Majorly all the books and sports journals can be seen in our library too. Currently, there's a halt at sports as the Sports and Multi purpose Ground is under construction but it will soon be open for students to play sports which include Cricket Football Basketball Badminton Volleyball and many more. We don't call it clubs, we call them Societies where many students from all courses and semesters meet together and work for betterment or awareness [Women development Cell, Voice for Tails etc]campaigns.
Hostel Facilities :
There are no Hostels Facilities for this College. Still there are many south campus colleges where you can find hostel facilities, If you're looking for hostels to stay, then you won't get it here in this college.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.

talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
