I did my pu in mounts so I chose to do my degree there too. Since the admissions took place during covid there was an online interview. The cut off for BBA regular might be around 80-85 percent, a little lesser if you did your pu there.
The department of management studies was a great dept. The faculty is great and have a good understanding of the subjects they teach. The exams were good too. If you love theory subjects then you'd find no difficulty in passing.
The placements is for a very selected group of people only. The eligibility criteria should be passed with no active backlogs and a decent attendance%. Unfortunately I wasn't eligible for placements so my go to app now is LinkedIn and internshala.
1st year I paid ?1, 10,000 2nd year I paid ? 1,15,000 3rd year I paid ? 1,25,000 The fees might have increased and there are also many scholarships provided. If you have attendance shortage you'll have to pay fine to be eligible for the exam. The min is 75% even if u have 74.5% you'll have to pay.
Mount Carmel is known for their events and fests. There are many associations and it's great to be a part of one and build ur network. The classrooms are spacious and very well Ventilated though u dont get network in few places on the campus. These associations have their own insta pages too if u wanna check them out.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
