- I like college infrastructure, greenery and maintenance of campus, clean with good air.
- Also, the Drone lab and Iot lab specifically made recently with new technology for students to use.

- The canteen, we need a better canteen that gives us food according to it's price.
Remarks :
No, I didn't give any tests or Interviews per se, I wanted the college to be near my Stay making it easy to commute daily, Which led to me asking my Seniors and Cousins who had already studied there and I was convinced that I wanted to pursue my Professional course here in BGSIT. First of all, it's the Infrastructure and utilities they provide, peaceful garden to study, beside the library and the college supports sports activity and other extracurricular activities too.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well, the college has 6 courses, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning being the recent one they have added, at first I thought, It will be quite difficult to get used to the course, but since mine was the first batch, I picked AIML purely out of curiosity and intrigue that actually paid my curiosity well. They didn't make us feel any inconvenience, we had solid faculty and materials regarding the subjects we were to study were also provided, Even the staff were really approachable, we could discuss any doubts or ideas we get on related topics. Exams are conducted on regular period which they mention in their yearly calendar, they give us space to breathe between each subjects, total three internals, once a month.
Internships Opportunities :
There is no explicit Internships which college provide, they give us opportunities outside to go and get internship, providing us with leave and convenient space. You can work on a project independently and the college will support financially if the idea is good.
Placement Experience :
There is no eligibility criteria, like you can apply for drives even if you have below 7 cgpa, and no backlogs. Recently visited companies are Code young, NTT Data, Accolate, Accenture, Hcl tech and Mahindra, Tcs are yet to come in next month. Around 30-40 students were selected, highest package being 8LPA and average of 4LPA, college had 90% placements before Covid, after the pandemic and regression, it had gone down considerably, but HR department are trying their best to make sure everyone get an oppurnity and be placed. I plan to work while doing my Masters and have some plans about a startup when I get enough experience in this Industry.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
KCET - 100000, They have to pay the full amount in the beginning of the semester. Extra( building fees, lab, admission, Marksheet, Examination Fees, etc) - 20000 - 30000 Management Quota - 250000 SSP Scholarship - 18000
Campus Life :
Life here in, past 3 years has been a roller coaster ride, we had fun events, like Prajwalana which takes place every even sem, it goes on for a week with sports and cultural, also other events like we celebrate every festival, students body being the spearhead of all events as they are responsible for arranging it, which helps us improve our managing and socializing skills. Hackathons and other technical events are also conducted. Our Library provides all kinds of books related to the Syllabus on one section and in the underground section, a spacious hall and books of all genres can be found. First, for us to borrow any book, we need to pay a separate 130 - 150 rs filling a card, which allows us to borrow books for all 4 years. Separate sports events are also held once in 2 months where each branch compete with each other and also Inter-university matches. The college has a Photography club, cultural club, sports club, IOT club, Drones club, Literature club, and more,
Hostel Facilities :
I am not in Hostel, But from what I have heard from my friend, The quality of food is, well we can eat it, don't expect too good. During your admission, they will ask for it and if you consent then you will be given an application. after paying hostel fees you will be given an id card specifically for it. Has strict regulation on time and outsiders are not allowed. As for PG, they are building a new complex beside the college itself, which is not fully constructed yet. other than that you can apply for govt hostels, which can be applied through govt portal, they provide free stay facilities with food, if your application is selected. Its called, BCM For boys and other one for girls.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
