- The affordability of this college is unmatched.
- The views here are unmatched too. Also the snooker point is a great place to chill with your friends though the snooker table could do with new mat.
Dislikes
- Sometimes, if you are not at good terms with your faculty they can be a pain in the but to work with.
- The lack of support from the college for internships. And the low average package.
Remarks :
This college has its own special benefits and demerits. One of the biggest benefits are that the fees is very low when compared to other colleges or universities that offer the same course with similar facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well my reason for choosing b.tech in this college was the affordability of the course. Plus the views from this place are unbelievable. Some faculty members are excellent at what they do. Some are not as good.
Internships Opportunities :
The college doesn’t place its students for internships. The students are on their own to get an internship at a place of their likings. From 2nd year ownwards there is an internship program that is compulsory for all students.
Placement Experience :
When talking about on campus placements the students start to sit in placement positions when they are in their 7th semester. Other than that anyone can sit for the positions The highest package I heard anyone has is 7500000 that was at Amazon.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year-wise fees I pay is approximately 65000. This is only the the tuition fees. Of a student chooses to live in hostel they must pay 18000 extra to avail the hostel facilities. Fees is submitted on per semester basis.
Campus Life :
When we get to the lifestyle of students on the campus, the library is the biggest of any college in Uttrakhand with so much content. There is also an anual fest that takes place in May of every year.
Hostel Facilities :
It is super easy to apply for hostel at this college. There is a portal on the website of this college in which students can select the option of hostel fees and submit it there. The hostels here are average.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
