Facts of Vasavi college
Remarks :
The good aspects are our college has huge playground facilities and indoor facility.The gym equipments are worth.An ambulance is available if there is any emergency to the faculty or student.Canteen and food mess also available.When coming to the bad aspects rules are being strict. Quality of food is average.sports hours are very few in a week. In admission process they the previous study certificate and accordingly they will allocate seats.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choosen this course as it has both software and hardware flexibility.The faculty members are mostly PhD holders which are experienced. But due to digital boards the quality of teaching is somewhat decreased. The exams will be conducted for every one and half month as a mid. The difficulty level is medium.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure yearly is 64000 for ece department.The fee structure will be varied according to the branch.admission fee will be 1000, transport fee is according to the locality.For free seat students the fee was paid by government only the jntu fee and transport fee should be paid by the student.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is good. Every year they conduct fest in March where every college will attend the college to see the fest. There are many books which are available in central library. When coming to sports the campus focus on cricket league.some members will be taken for jntu selections as well as other states. There are other digital clubs like dance, music, arts, adventure clubs
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted hostel but I was in hostel for a period of 2 months. The rooms are not bad but washrooms are in poor condition. The quality of food is somewhat good but not excellent. The menu will be changed according to the students if they have any objection. Though there no pgs near location but rental houses can be seen near the location.

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
