- Their is kind of language barrier for the students from other state but faculties try to overcome those barrier.
Remarks :
As I belong to chhattisgarh state it was quiet close to my hometown plus it is one of the profound college of South India. With great infrastructure and facilities. Many people from my home town have graduated through the GITAM UNIVERSITY so through their reviews I opted for this college.You have to give a entrance exam GAT. It is a written test which contains your 11th and 12th syllabus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
If I talk about course curriculum we have both theoretical and practical subjects. Some subject are completely practical all internal marks for 100 and some have not internal assessment well as external marks. For end sem we have 30 marks paper and internal 70 in which it contains Assignment,quizzes and mid exams . We do have great faculties. Most of them are well experienced plus they have completed their PhD from good college. They are interactive plus have a great relationship with the students.
Placement Experience :
GITAM UNIVERSITY have a good track record for campus placement and internships. Many great companions like Amazon, enfosis , IBM , tata, TCS and many other companies takes the students . You have to pass first the return exams for second the coding round and finally the interview. Sometimes the company keeps a criteria for tg students like their cgpa should above a certain number.This year I'm not sure but we secured a highest package of around 45-46 lakhs pa .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for the Btech CSE course is Rs345000 and it is increasing every year for the second year it was Rs361000. For the scholarship have to give a entrance exam GAT. According to your rank you will be provided scholarship. Upto hundred percent scholarship is provided in the college. But you have to maintain min 75% attendance and pass the semester to continue the scholarship.
Campus Life :
We have a pretty good infrastructure and we enjoy a lot in campus. Till now I had a great campus experience. We have all kind of basic stuffs available like food stalls , library, general stores and many more. Their are clubs of kind like badminton, eSports, GUSAC , anime and many more. We conduct one of the largest campus fest Shore in the month of Jan or Feb every year. All the three GITAM campus students participate it is a three day event.
Hostel Facilities :
I am a hosteler and I'm very very much enjoying my hostel Life. You have both the options for AC and Non AC. They have 3 sharing badroom for 1st year and for 2nd year you have 2 and 3 sharing both. For non AC you have to pay 150000 yearly for AC you gave to pay 180000. This includes both hostel and mess fees. The mess is also inside the campus , it provides breakfast, lunch , snacks and dinner.

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
