- The educational qualifications and friendly atmosphere of our faculties towards the students is a key factor of success of the college.
- The brilliants in Academics college infrastructure and timely done semester examinations is another positive of our college.
Dislikes
- When comparing to other colleges our college have low area. So we don't have a big campus. Most of the students took back their TCs because of this reason.
- The distance between our college blocks are another negative. Our college has self financing, administrative block, aided block which is located at hundred metres away from each other.
- The college Indore and outdoor stadiums are located 1 km away from the college. When we have to practice a sport or watches sport we have to walk for 1 km or with another means of transportation.
Remarks :
I didn't faced any interviews or entrance examination as part of the admission process. I'll we need to submit is our plus to board examinations mark. With that the college will publish a rank list and students are called accordingly. Students at top ranks will get the first priority.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The teachers of St Thomas autonomous College Thrissur are well educated and qualified. There is a faculty review method through the college website for each student. A very student can review their teachers at each semester. This semester exams are conducted each 5 months. Odd semester exams are conducted in November and even semester exams are conducted in March.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are done under the placement cell of our college.from this year onwards placement cell offers abroad Internships which is going to be held in the summer vacation. Normal Internships at the neighbouring companies are done in Christmas and Onam holiday. Internships are done under mainly Accenture Infopark etc. When coming to internships and placements our college stands number 1 in Kerala.
Placement Experience :
St Thomas autonomous College Thrissur is Kerala's number one college which provides the best placements. Every year we have a rate of 30% of passed students placed in different companies. Students are placed in Federal Bank Accenture InfoPark and other big companies. My plans after degree is if I get Placement in this college I will go through it or I will go on further studies. The eligibility criteria for the placement is nothing other than obery rules and regulations of the placement cell. The average starting salary of placed students are 3 lakh.The highest salary package is 16 lakh per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have to pay the fees yearly and the students have to pay the fees according to our courses and as I'm studying a aided course we have to pay 10000 yearly and this fees includes tuition fees registration fees labs etc... St Thomas college also provides reservation seats for deserving students and the fees to paid is almost 2500 and this fees does not change throughout the year
Campus Life :
Department wise and Technology fests are conducted at every academic year. These fests are conducted basically in even semesters which is from November to March. The main attraction of our college is our college library. It is constructed around 2 years ago spending about 3 crores. And Co curriculum activities are also going on in the campus at each semester.
Hostel Facilities :
I am not a hosteller. But I know the drawbacks of the hostel of our college from my friends. The food prepared in the hostel mess is very poor and of bad quality. Many of the students with true from the hostel and joined PG or rented room because of this reason.The hostel admission is straight method by going to the hostel and meeting the warden for admission.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
