The admission was based on the merit i.e percentage of 12th class. I chose this college because I wanted to do graduation from a cheaper college and not to spend high on my bachelor's degree so that later I can use the money for my master's .
The teachers are good and are very helpful. The college is new , it does not have its own building right now it is situated inside the women's polytechnic college. But the college is improving day by day . Now the BSc students have their own building and have smart classes too. Equipments for experiments are now available and slowly they are introducing sports too. Periodically the college organises different competitions too that is quiz competition, debate , essay writing etc. The college has also NSS for the interested students.
For the 1st year it was 1621, for the second year, 1900, and for the third year it was 2100. It varies if you have more practical subjects like chemistry physics. I was not having chemistry so this was my fee structure. Practical subjects have 500 more
There are no clubs right now because the college does not have enough area but it's slowly growing. The faculty is working on finding a new place for the college. Students are good to each other and they enjoy themselves in the college.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
