No interviews or group discussions were required, I got the college by writing the KEAM examination and I chose this college since it is ranked 3rd among the best colleges in the state, moreover the college is known for its mechanical department, it has a string alumni association, now runs on a autonomous curriculum which stands us apart from other engineering colleges in the state as our syllabus and curriculum is now updated
The cource curriculum is updated but is a little too constrained as too much complex stuff that usually are spread out on different semesters are now included in one semester for ease of understanding, with a little refining it would've been less straining, academics wise it is a good place, you'll get enough guidance from the teachers but not too much that you'll feel spoonfed, faculties are diff on each department, but due to the different curriculum the faculty by nature cannot be too controlling, and the students are given opportunities to excel outside of academics only
Tuition fees for per sem comes to around 500 with additional 2000 for sem registrations, and anyother utility fees will comes around to 1000 which includes additional facilities provided by the college, the exam registration fees is reduced for category other than general and OBC, and scholarships are also available based on category and economic status
Though the campus physically is small comparative to others, it indices a busy lively campus, with a lots clubs whether we're talking art, sports, tech, literature, debate, music, clubs and extracurricular activities are an integral and more importantly one factor the college seems to be proud of, the club fests and activities are also conducted with quite enough htoe with support given from the college too at times, the largest and the main feat thats conducted would be the Hestia our annual tech fest which garners huge popularity across South India, workshops competition, exhibitions cultural food fests, night long activities prior to the fest for preparation, it's a wonderful experience
The hostel was quite a humbling experience since I didn't chose the inh, the rooms is crowded for 6 people the bathroom facilities however weren't that bad, the food however was awful at times, there is gym, a spacious mess hall too
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
