Remarks :
The major factor for choosing the college was it's infrastructure and cut off for this college. A student with decent percentile in joint entrance exam can approach this college for engineering course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
70 percent of the faculties are contract faculties which are posted for per semester and are removed on feedback criteria. The exam are held timely after completion of course , these exam have a high difficulty level.
Internships Opportunities :
There are many online companies which offer you internship program during your semester break these internship helps in upgrading your resume as well as your skills and work environment. Students without having any back in semester exam are eligible for these internship.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is you need to be a 7+ cpga scorer in your engineering course. Recruiter visited the campus are HCL, infosys, orange, Accenture etc. Highest package -6 lakhs Average package- 4lakhs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fee for current year 2024 is around 1.4 lakhs which excludes your hostel charges. There are no management quota Or any category wise decrement in fees. You can apply for Scholarship through NSP.
Campus Life :
The fest are conducted by the college in the month of march, the annual fest is named as 'KAUTHIG'. There is also a huge library area in college in which books of each course is provided. Clubs and social groups are created by the college students.
Hostel Facilities :
There are no hostel in our college as women institute of technology is a campus college of uttarakhand technical university. You need to opt for hostel outside the college area in nearby places according to your choice.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
