- great infrastructure,good gym, labs, and peaceful environment, great research facilties
- extremely encouraging and knowledgeable faculties
Dislikes
- strict attendance criteria and uniforms, early hostel curfew time
- the lack of non vegetarian food in hostel mess
Remarks :
the primary reason for choosing amrita was the placement statistics and the extra cirricular clubs such as bi0s and amfoss;. the campus is beautiful situated near the ocean and the environment is really good the only negative aspect is the vibe is more of a non strict school than a college maybe due to the uniforms and strict timetable the admission can be based on either ur jee score or amrita's own entrance exam the cutoff depends on the campus chosen and whether ur instate on out of state
Course Curriculum Overview :
the curriculum is very good and updated constantly. especially the ECE curriculum was updated for the 2023 admission year.the updates and revision reflects the constantly evolving and more challenging world. all of the faculty and mentors are very qualified and very enthusiastic about educating the students. the exams are challenging but properly spaced throughout the semester to give students time to prepare.
Internships Opportunities :
many internship facilties are available. companies such as adobe caterpillar and keltron provide internship facilties. research clubs such as HUT labs also provide internship and research facilties. online internship facilties are constanly updated in CIR groups and batch groups
Placement Experience :
the placements are extremely good compared to similar universities. CS and EC streams get the best placements. the everage package for CSE is around 14 lpa and ECE is around 12 lpa.some of the prominent companies that visit are Palo Alto, TCS, Cisco Bosch, Intuit, Atlassian. the highest package offered is around 51 lpa offered to the DSAI batch
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
there are 3 primary scholarship fees, the fees varies from 125000 to 500000 depending on the course taken and your scholarship slab.there is a fixed deposit of 10000 at the time of admission. there are also many post admission scholarship schemes available like defense/ex defence ,ews quota etc available
Campus Life :
the tech fest is named Vidyut and its one of south indias biggest and is held every april-may. the library is extremely well equipped and all current and relevant books and publications are available. sports facilties are good and many competitions and events are held all the time. as mentioned the clubs of the college are some of the country's best. some of them like bi0s and amfoss are considered the best. cultural clubs like ayudh hold social events all the time.
Hostel Facilities :
hostels are available and well equipped with clean rooms and bathrooms. wifi is also although with a firewall. food is clean and good but the negative aspect is that only vegetarian food is available. the hostel fees is around 70k a year. u can apply for hostel facilities at the time of admission. private residencies and PG facilties are also available around the campus

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
