Likes
- I liked most is the faculty behaviour with students like friendly manner. Not a strict way.
- College infrastructure is good and for biotechnology students it will be more good.
Dislikes
- I dislike the food provides in our college.
- I dislike one thing is sports ground and gym is too distance from hostel .
Remarks :
We need to apply for AEEE exam which conducted 2 times in a year to join Amrita University or we can apply respective board result and JEE main result. I decided to join in cybersecurity branch so i decided to join in Amrita University. There is no interview required to join for b.tech. for M.tech admission interview required .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is latest for every batches. Curriculum is updating time to time according to current requirements of companies. The faculty of this college is awesome. They are monitoring students well. They are connecting with students in friendly manner. There are 8 semester for whole course and 1 mid term in each semester.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't opted for any internships right now because i didn't have eligible criteria to get internships. But after sem 4 or sem 6 many students get opportunities of internship with stipend liked paid or unpaid internships.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placements is you need to be student of semester 7 or above and you need to maintain above 6 CGPA. And many companies visiting our college and each and every student going to industrial visit. Highest package in our college is 54 LPA. and average is around 12 LPA . percentage of students placements is above 90%.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure of Amrita is based on slabs. Which were given or allotted by writing AEEE exam or we can apply JEE Main result. Based on our merit or result we can get our slabs. Fees of each slab : Slab 1: 150000/- Slab 2 : 250000/- Slab 3:400000/- Slab 4:600000/- These are only tution fees. Caution fee :5000/- Admission fee :11500/-
Campus Life :
The biggest event in Amrita Amritapuri is vidyuth and in Amrita coimbatore is Anokha. Both are India's top tech fest. Sports and extra curricular activities are common in every university but in this university there is competition between other Amrita colleges. Inter Amrita competition. There are many clubs are there in this college Which we can join by our intrest. And BIOS is number 1 hacking club in India which belongs to Amrita Amritapuri.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is good but taste is not that much good. Because the food is cooking in Kerala style which may dislike by many members including me. Hostel affordability is good . They charge rupees 75000 per year for hostel and food . When we compared with other hostel it's too affordable.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
