I take admission through JEE after that I filled GGSIPU councelling. I have intrest in cs related fields that's why I choose this over dtu production engineering and nsut mechanical engineering. And it's a good filed from future prospective
Faculties are good here most of them are PhD holders and some are pursuing side by side but the curriculum here is old as other engineering colleges, they teach environmental science , engineering drawing, Indian constitution, manufacturing process which don't play role in IT field.
I am currently in first year so no chance for any internship but there is low on campus internships opportunity to students barely 10% get on campus and most of them opt for off campus internship and college also provide help for off campus
Placement opportunities are here is good. Companies with package range of 3 lpa to 35 lpa come here if you want more you have to go off campus for MNC companies. Cse and it average will be around 9-10 lpa and ece around 7 lpa followed by eee with 5-6 lpa
In my first year they charge 1.88 lakhs and got next three years I have to pay 1.68 laks and there is a scholarship for ews students from the University if there is other scholarship also available I don't know about that
Campus is too small with 6 acers of land area. But infrastructure is good and well maintained. Library is here with all the books with ac and wifi. There is a annual fest called Malhaar and well known in delhi . Sports like cricket , football , kabaddi , basketball, badminton, table tennis, volleyball are available here.
There is only hostel for girls and there is no hostel for boys. Boys have to take pg or something nearby the college. But there is good food in college canteen with reasonable price range and as I know mess food is also good here .
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
