Likes
- The faculty is helpful and has the knowledge of the subject and labs are very good.
- Library is very good has around a lakh of books.
Dislikes
- Campus size is small so you don't get too much places to roam around.
- Canteen is shit. They charge you high money without providing the quality.
Remarks :
This college has decent ratings and was suggested by my seniors too. It had a good NIRF rank in 2020(under 50). I got admission in special drive cutoff. And was allotted Maths Hons in this college. So college and course wise this was the best option.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Teachers are decent and mostly helpful, most of them have depth of subject matter. Term exams were mainly based on PYQ pattern if you go through those you can easily clear it. Exams are conducted on time and results are given on time as well
Internships Opportunities :
I opted for a few internships like Casio, TFI, etc. We had offers from other companies and startups as well like private banks. Mainly they offer low position roles as it not an engineering or management college.
Placement Experience :
There's a placement cell in our college which provides average placements and internships. Placements and internships opportunities are displayed on college Space which can be accessed by students. For good placements you have to rely on outer source.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Annual fee is around 20000 per year. We get fee concession based on family income every year. Scholarship are there but they are very limited. Fee structure is high as compared to other colleges of DU.
Campus Life :
Campus life is average as most of the off campus colleges. You won't get the vibe of North campus here. Crowd was decent as well. Sports facilities are there they have a huge playground. ECA wise the college is very good Cultural Council spends a lot on fests and other college events. Recently built new building is amazing. And library is rich too.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
