First factor is that there weren't much good colleges available and all of my friends had taken admission here, we discussed that before taking admission, yes that was a factor, also as I was in Nashik so I opted for it. The admission process was quite simple, I had applied on the website , got in the merit list, filled the form and got the admission.
Honestly, I had not much choice so I opted for this college, rather it's not bad, if Nashik is to be considered and you want to pursue B.Com then BYK college of commerce is good choice, the academics is average and the rest is also I'll say not bad not good, I'll rate it average. The difficulty for the exams is moderate like I feel it to be.
The fee structure as far as I know is 8000 tution fee for general category and I being OBC I have 50% concession that brings me to 4000.I don't have any idea about the other categories and regarding the scholarship, there are scholarships available but I'm yet to apply for any. The rest fees like library and all is somewhat 400 for me.
The campus life is not much experienced by me at the college. I also haven't been part of any fest or event took place in college. The library is one good aspect I love about the college, it has got a good library and books in it. I do not participate in any event also I play sports but am not a part of any sports team in the college and also not intend to be part of. Also I am not a part of any social group, clubs and also I don't want to be.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
